Hi. When you turn on the top oven the upper element doesn't shut off after it gets to the set temp.

It could be a stuck or welded relay in the control board. Sometimes a sharp rap on the relays on the control board will jar the contacts loose. Be careful not to tap too hard and make sure the power is off. If this doesn't solve the problem you may have to replace the control board.

F-24 goes on after oven on, and oven starts to beep

The F24 fault code is caused by a closed/stuck/shorted contact on the control panel for more than 60 seconds, such has someone leaning against the controls or objects hanging in front of the controls.

Solution: Touch OVEN OFF, or turn power OFF at the circuit breakers, wait 3 minutes and then turn it back on. If the condition persists the touchpad/control panel will likely need to be replaced. Turn the power off in order to stop the beeping.

Sounds like the broil relay on your ERC (electronic range control) / clock is stuck. Until it's replaced the only way to keep it off would be to cut power to the range.

Oven shows F7 error problem with irritating beeping sound

F7 stuck keypad
Stuck keypad may mean relay is turned on.
Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

Oven

Neal, the only thing I can bring up with that model number is a built in wall oven. You said the top burners work fine, so we are missing something here. Sounds to me like a stuck or shorted keypad. Catriver..post back

Unplug this unit for 3 minutes. if the control fault still exists after the 3 minute reset, replace the affected control board.
