Single speed i have an andis agc2 speed and recently it was only working on a single speed therfore when i switch from speed 1 to speed 2 doesnt increase the speed. As i saw that the motor is running i tought the circuit board was gone. I have ordered a new circuit board and changed it but still the same problem,my question is the armeture faulty or maybe the new board ive bought is faulty? Thanks.

The blade assembly is either jammed or broken. I would remove the assy and test to see if it runs. If I you have isolated it to the blade assembly. (If not its internal and needs factory service).
Heres a link to the manual. The graphical instructions for removing the blades are on page 4.
On the back of the clipper it should say something like AG, AGR, or AGC does it look like any of these dog clippers Dog Clippers .
Has it got a power cable or is it a Rechargeable? Also age is a good clue?
Ok you should be connecting the blade whilst the clipper is on this will ensure the blade engages with the clipper correctly, simply push the front edge of the blade into the clipper untill the latch has snapped into place.
This round cylinder is a permenant magnet and doesn't actually connect to anything, the only contact which matter are the copper wires connecting the circuit board to the Carbon brushes.
This may be as simple as a faulty cable check for power to the circuit board.
