Barbara: You can remove the globe and replace the light bulb with an appliance light bulb. If it still doesn't work, try wriggling the socket a little bit with the light bulb in place (so you don't get shocked). If it STILL does not work, yes, a socket can be replaced and rewiring can be done.
check fuses and check globes . Globes might have two filaments and low beam ones has blown . Had this globe thing happen on two globes at the same time on Ford Falcon's Halogon globe headlights.
All lights rely on a good connection between the globe base and the metal body of the car.
This is the cause of your problem.
You'll probably find rust in the globe holder stopping the globe from making a good connection.
You may have to replace the globe holders, but it will be worth trying to clean the rust back to bright steel.

check park/tail fuse regarding dash ,park ,tail problem .brake light on passenger side is probably the brake globe needs replacing .Turn signals on passenger side could be globes or switch, check globes first ,if globes and fuse are ok ,may well be the switch especially if park switch and turn signals are on the same switch lever/stalk
It sounds like one or more of the light globes is not working. The easiest way to check them is to turn on hazard switch and then make sure all are working. If any need replacing ensure the correct wattage globes are used. If after replacing globes and some are still not working, It could be a bad earth connection in the light fitting.
First, check how well the metal base of the globe fits into the socket. If it is a bit loose remove the globe, squeeze the sides of the metal socket with some pliers so that the globe fits snugly in the socket. If it is still not working correctly, check the earth wire that runs from the globe socket and any connectors in the wiring loom near the Light Assemblies as well as where the earth wire is attached to the body. If necessary, remove, clean thoroughly by removing any corrosion or paint and re-attach securely.
I think you're referring to the bulb which is not working. You have to remove the cover from the microwave to gain access to the bulb. Replacements can usually be found at appliance repair shops or stores and electrical or lighting supply stores.
The brake and tail light globe are two different filiments in the one globe. One can blow but the other one can still work, I suggest that you replace the globe.
USE LESS THAN 5W GLOBE IF AVAILABLE OR 7 W IS A STANDARD GLOBE BEING NORMALLY USED, WILL & SHOULD NOT AFFECT THE POWER CIRCUIT AS PER MY EXPERIENCE BEST WISHES
