It could well be the accumulation of dirt/dust behind the buttons causing them to stick. If you are able to carefully remove the board that the buttons are located on and use a cleaner that will de-grease at the same time. Be sure that everything is dry as can be before re-assembling and then check if the problem persists. If you are not capable of doing this trust a competant technician. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: mintex 37 inch wide screen. remote is working however cannot change channel, input source or volum. only turns tv off. The buttone on tv doesnot work connot change input source or volume

Check if the remote is in TV position, that is, because most of the remote controllers have the feature that you can program them for use with another devices. Make shure that one button that says "TV" in pressed and released once before you try to change any function on the TV.

SOURCE: the remote doesnt work with the tv at all. and when i try to change the channel manually with the button it says no input availiable. but the volume button works just the channel button that doesnt. I

UNPLUG THE SET FOR A WHILE AND PLUG IT BACK IN TO SEE IF IT WILL REBOOT-sounds like a microprocessor problem and could have been caused by a power outage etc.
