Hi, how are you?

I'm guessing you have a clogged pump and is preventing the machine to go into the final spin cycle. It's very common with these frontloaders.

You just need to take the bottom plate off (3 screws on the bottom) and open the coin trap and clean it out. It should be right in the front. Try that and let me know what happens.

Thanks!

Ned

Why are clothes/towels still quite wet after going through complete cycle?

Charlotte,
Without knowing the brand, we can only give you an idea of what might be the problem, but it obviously did not get up to the proper speed when spinning the water out since you have very wet close. If you can reply back with the brand and model of your washer, we can help you better.

My whirlpool commercial washer is not draining properly. The close is extremely wet but there no excess water in the drum. what could cause this issue?

Sounds like the water drained but the drum did not spin. Select spin and see if the drum actualy turns. If you hear a motor running then it could be just the drive.

Diagnostics ok but only spins slow

Water pump screen is plugged. Will not drain properly even though it goes into high spin.

WSM2480 Clothes Still Wet After Slow Spin Cycle

It's possible that the tub didn't drain properly in the allotted time and the remaining water is slowing your drum from coming to maximum extraction speed.

Hot water stops filling too soon.

Fill setting has to be adjusted and the belt is slipping on the spin cycle and not generating enough centrifugal force to get the water out.

Slow spin clothes are still wet, spins better on medium spin cycle than the fast cycle. Is this a bad speed control unit?

Actually, it could and probably is your door switch! If the door switch doesn't "tell" the control board that the door is not closed, the washer will not spin out your clothes. And when they go bad, that's exactly what defective door switches do. Order the switch first. Then take off the top lid by removing the two screws in back of the lid itself. Then, open the door, remove the two screws holding the door switch from the front of the washer. Pull it up and pay careful attention to how it is wired. Connect the wires to the new unit from the old one by one and reinstall. I bet it will spin!

Kenmore 44152 3.5 high capicity washer will not spin

Open the lid of the washer and let it down gently to see if you hear a click when it closes. There is a lid switch that sometimes fails and prevents the washer from going into a spin cycle. If you don't hear the click when the lid closes, then you may need to have the lid switch replaced.

My Front Loading Washer is 14 months old. It is not working properly. The door locks & fills with water. The soap is dispensed. You can hear the motor running but the drum doen Not turn. The alarm...

it sounds like a faulty door switch, when you close the lid,it pushes a switch in letting the washer know its safe to spin, replace the door switch ,it is a common problem as the switch is being pushed constanly open and closed, usally held by 2 screws
