I bought a new remote for my system (lost the old one), and when I follow the instructions to pair it with the system, it does not work. The system in the car follows the steps in the manual, but it never acknowledges the remote when I press a button on the remote.

Bulldog has it BAD that Way I have seen this More than Once I nstalled one In A Chevy Blazer and 7-8 Months Later it Started "STARTING ON ITS OWN There HELP LINE NEVER HAD An Answer for Me So I Disconnected it Keep Tryin or Send it Back To them Sorry Not So Helpfull I Just Would Disconnect it

Remove the battery in your remote for 15 sec, then put back in, start your car with your key, wait 15 sec, while the car is running press the * star button 2 times, it should beep , if not try it again, if still nothing post me back and we can go from there

Turn the valet switch on, start the car with your key wait 15 sec, press the * star button 2 times with the car running, it should beep and program if not turn valet switch the other way and try again, if still nothing post me back and we will go from there

With ignition on push and hold valet (programing) button for 2 seconds or untill remote beeps and z"s disappear.
