How do I turn off the cooling option on my Novamatic microwave?

The word COOL is displayed when the microwave goes into a cooling cycle. The cool cycle is a feature that ensures the operating components of the microwave (Inverter and Magnetron) are cooled after operation by running the fan inside the microwave.
The cooling function is activated whenever the microwave runs for over 3 minutes or is operated twice within a 10 minute period. The word COOL is displayed to tell you why the fan is still running. You do not have to wait for the cool cycle to complete before using the microwave again, simply enter the cooking operation you wish to perform and the cool cycle will stop and the microwave will perform the cooking operation you have just entered.

The upstairs ac display is blinking cool on, but not cooling the house. The outside fan is running. please help. The downstairs display and unit working properly

Normally Honeywell will "blink" COOL ON when its in a timed delay, usually 3-5 mins. And then COOL ON will stay on without blinking. If you turn tstat off then wait about 5 mins, then turn to cool, watch for the blinking, then wait 5 more. If it doesn't turn on, check/change the batteries if it has them. Try turning the AUTO/ON to the on position to bring on the fan only. It won't cool doing this but it helps in homeowner troubleshooting.

French Door: Why Does The Control Panel Display "OF OF" Instead Of The Temperature? If the control panel displays "OF OF" instead of the temperature, the refrigerator is in "Cooling Off" mode. In Cooling Off mode, the refrigerator appears to be running normally, but the compressor is off so the unit does not cool. Cooling Off mode is used by retailers to save energy when the refrigerator is on the showroom floor.
Note: Cooling Off mode is also called Demo mode or Exhibition mode.

Disable Cooling Off mode by performing the following:
  • Left Door: Simultaneously press and hold the top two buttons on the left side of the display panel until you hear a distinctively different chime sound when the display changes. This will either be a combination of "Energy Saver" and "Freezer", or "Energy Saver" and "Power Freeze/Freezer."

Samsung rs263tdbp and demo/cool off mode will not turn off

from the manuals Page 1. Activating/Deactivating Cooling Off Mode When the refrigerator is in Cooling Off Mode (aka Demo Mode) the display will read "OF OF, O FF, or OFF OFF." Cooling Off Mode prevents the unit from cooling. It is used by retailers to display units without wasting energy.
Note: Models without digital displays will display scrolling lines when the unit is in Cooling Off Mode.

Tip: If your display panel has buttons that have to be pushed in to perform any functions, replace the word "Touch" with "Push" or "Press" in the following steps.
  1. Touch and hold the top two buttons on the left side of the display panel.
  2. Important: You must touch the 2 buttons at the exact same time. Not doing so will result in an unsuccessful attempt to activate/deactivate Cooling Off Mode.

    Notes:
    • As long as the display panel is located on the exterior of the left door of your refrigerator you will use the top two buttons on the left side of the display panel to activate/deactivate Cooling Off Mode.
    • If your display panel is located inside of the unit along the door frame you will need to locate the words "Cooling Off (Hold 3 sec)" printed on the panel. The Power Freeze and Freezer buttons are the two buttons used for Cooling Off mode on these models.
    • Wi-Fi Touchscreen displays on RF4289* and RSG309* are exceptions to this article. Cooling Off Mode is activated/deactivated through the settings menu.

Of error code on display screen. how do I fix it?

If your control panel displays "OF" instead of the temperature, your refrigerator is in "Cooling Off" mode. In Cooling Off mode, the refrigerator appears to be running normally, but the compressor is off so the unit does not cool. Cooling Off mode is used by retailers to save electricity when the refrigerator is on the showroom floor.

Note: Cooling Off mode is also called Demo mode or Exhibition mode.

Depending on your refrigerator, to remove your refrigerator from Cooling Off mode:

  • Either press and hold the Energy Saver and Power Freeze buttons for 3 seconds
  • Or press and hold the Power Freeze and Freezer buttons for 3 seconds.

The temperature display re-appears after the unit is out of Cooling Off mode.

Say ci intermitent in the display and sometimes stop cooling

The error code should be C1 and this would mean that the return air sensor is either disconnected or faulty. The sensor is clipped onto the fin plates of the evaporator where the air is drawn into the evap.
