Can't tighten single handle moehn kitchen faucet

The base of the faucet is lose. (Ie., when pulling on the handle the faucet moves, also the rectangular base can be twisted) Undernieth the sink, there is no central bolt; only a metal plate with a circular plate undernieth it. Top side, I don't know if I am supposed to take the faucet apart to be able to tighten the base.

Any suggestions?

There is supposed to be a nut with a washer under the sink in the center, the metal plate is just for decoration, the nut and washer have to be installed before the sprayer is attached the stem that it connects to has threads on it for the nut your faucet should have came with a long socket made of plastic to install the nut

The three screws continuously loosen. The faucet is less than one year old. I'm tired of crawling under the sink with a screwdriver to tighten the screws!

I have a Moen Single Handle kitchen faucet, it's leaking at the base and below the neck (where is swivels for the faucet to move side to side). How do I fix it?

Replace the "O" rings that are behind the spout portion. You will have to remove the top of the faucet and pull up on the spout section. There will be a couple of "O" rings there. It is best to have Moen send the parts to you as locating the proper size "O" rings can be difficult.

I have a delta single handle kitchen faucet. It has shifted and is not centered. It is hard to move the handle to the left for hot water. How do I center it and tighten it back?

Loosen the retaining nut holding the faucet to the underside of the countertop/sink. Use a deep socket or basin wrench (http://images.lowes.com/general/b/bwrench.gif)
Straighten out the faucet and have someone hold it straight
while you tighten the retaining nut.

This problem may be a sign that the faucet needs some maintenance. You may want to read this as well:

Hi buffy9,

I'm Harvet the Master Plumber.

Your question is: You have an American Standard two faucet in my kitchen and the base of the spout leaks at the base. How do you remove it and replace the washers?

Are we talking about an American Standard two HANDLE faucet or one of the single handle models?

Thank you,
