SOURCE: Can you remove the front panel on an HE washer

Hey gearman, In a word, Yes. I find it easier to extend the drawer out ( if applicable...some pedestal's don't have drawer's ) and then the panel will drop down un-obstructed once the screws are removed. Hope this was helpful and answered your question. Please take a second to rate this solution if to your satisfactory, if not let me know how I can assist you further. Thanks for visiting "fixya" and good luck. Macmarkus :)

Remove pedestal from washer

Those washers are heavy! They have weights in them to prevent moving when spinning. Some use bolts through the bottom of the pedestal up through the washer and others use bolts down through the washer into the pedestal. Remove the bolts and lift the washer off the pedestal. You might need to get levelling bolts for the washer or check to see if the bolts are on the bottom of the pedestal. Make sure you get help to move the machine.

Will LAB2700LQo pedestal fit my Kenmore model 110-47532602 or 1108752601

Even though the Sears brand is made by Whirlpool, the 110 series is an exclusive line. IT is not likely to fit. You will have to measure the base and mounting holes on the pedestal and the machine.

How do you install whirlpool duet pedestal

Make sure that you get the pedestal designed for your washer. The white pedestal for the GHW9400P would be LAB2700MQ. (There are slight differences in the pedestals for different series washers. The holes in the base of the washer will not line up with the holes in the pedestal for a mismatched combination.)

First if your washer has been installed, uninstall it. You need to turn off the water. Then disconnect the power cord and (carefully) the fill hoses. Loosen the hoses first and then completely remove them. Drain the hoses into a bucket. Disconnect the drain hose from the back of the washer. Use pliers to squeeze the clamp to get the drain hose loose.

Pull the washer away from the wall. Cover the area behind the washer with cardboard and tip the washer onto its back (on the cardboard).

Pull out the drawer of the pedestal. Next snap the spacers into the holes on the top of the pedestal. (These are part of the hardware kit in the drawer of the pedestal.) Remove the shipping spacers from the front of the pedestal (behind the drawer). Remove the Philips head screw from the drawer slides and pull the drawer completely out (save the screws). Push the slides back into the pedestal.

Look at the washer and remove the feet if present. Partially install two of the hex head screws from the pedestal installation kit in the bottom holes of the washer. (These are at the center back of the washer if it is standing up.) Leave the screws about 3/8" from the bottom of the washer. Move the pedestal over to the washer and slide the keyhole openings of the pedestal over the two partially installed screws. Position the pedestal against the top of the washer and insert the remaining two hex head screws. Do not tighten completely.

Align the pedestal with the base of the washer on all sides. When it is lined up, tighten the 4 screws by reaching through the drawer opening of the pedestal. Bring the washer and pedestal back upright. Reinstall the washer (remove the packaging if this was a new install). Level (front to back and side to side) the washer using the pedestal feet (again reach through the drawer opening). Make sure that all 4 feet touch the floor. Tighten all 4 locknuts.

Pull out the drawer slides and reinstall the drawer. Reinstall the Philips screws. Close the drawer.

For pictures of the install, go to the Whirlpool support site http://www.whirlpool.com/owner_center . Search for your pedestal and get the installation manual. The direct link for the LAB2700MQ0 install is http://www.kitchenaid.ca/assets/pdfs/literature/Installation%20Instructions%20-%208537141.pdf .

I hope this helps.

I can't remove the stand off the tv

Hi, i have instruction on removing your base stand.

Removing the Pedestal Stand
1) Carefully lay the front of the unit face down on a flat,
cushioned surface such as a quilt or blanket. Leave the stand
protruding over the edge of the surface.
Note: Extreme care should always be used when removing
the pedestal stand to avoid damage to the LCD panel.
2) Remove the jack pack cover on the back of the TV to expose
the pedestal stand screws. The jack pack cover can be removed
without tools.
3) Remove the four screws shown in the diagram below. This will
allow removal of the pedestal stand.
4) Once you have removed all four screws holding the pedestal
stand in place, remove the pedestal stand from the TV by
sliding the pedestal stand away from the TV.

Installing pedestal to washer

You want to level just the pedestal in the place where you will be using it so when you put it in position mounted together later it is done. Also very easy to do first. Get the pedestal level, tighten the lock nuts, put the washer on its back. Usually you remove the washer feet, take the pedestal drawer out, screw on each side, bolt the pedestal to the washer with the four screws provided. Tip pedestal and washer up, on to something that slides easily to protect floor. There usually are some type of shipping bolts that have to be removed from back of washer before using on new units. Usually four and these have to be removed.

LG washer vibration

My wife and I originally had the same problem, and it didn't help that the washroom was a slick tile floor. First add as much weight as possible to your pedestal. We have ours full of detergents, bleach, fabric softener, etc., and have several of each so that the pedestal is completely full. When mounted on the pedestal, the washer is quite top-heavy, and the added weight in the bottom helped immensely. Second, make sure your washer is level, both the feet resting on the pedestal and the feet of the pedestal itself, and tighten the secondary rings so the feet don't vibrate out of place. Last, I purchased some thin rubber padding (approximately the thickness of leather) from Home Depot in the carpet aisle. Cut some small squares and place one under each foot of the pedestal. This gives the feet some additional "grabbing power" on slick floors.
