Machine fills with water, timer switch makes appropriate clicking noise but drum/motor does not start working.
On rinse cycle maching fills with water but goes no further.
No problem on drain cycle.
On spin cycle nothing happens.
Have cleaned chamber bottom right and pulled the odd black plactic thing a few times to see if sensors are detecting some problem.
Possibly the belt is off/broken? can you hear the motor turning when the drum is supposed to be revolving? If not supect the motor carbon brushes, or some other fault with the motor/and /or circiut, at best it may be a burned out wire to the motor
ok then. back to my original response. Supect the motor carbon brushes, or some other fault with the motor/and /or circiut, at best it may be a burned out wire to the motor. Have a look underneath for a broken wire into the motor.(tip the machine back & lean it against the wall),if no sign of a break suspect motor fault, could be carbon brushes which is fairly easy to fix MAKE SURE POWER IS OFF
The wiring seems fine how do I check the carbon brushes

Belt is fine but motor turning very easily by hand so suspect it is a motor problem.
need to remove the carbon brushes how to proceed?
exactly the same problem as posted by Setnic
Water taken in but drum bdoes not turn. When on spin cycle the timer counts down but drum does not move. No blockages, filter clean all wires connected
Any ideas please,on a Beko WM 6143S that makes a crackling sound when draining. The crackling has now stopped, but on starting the washing cycle,it fills up, the drum turning as normal then does not drain ( you can't even hear the pump making the usual motoring sound). After about 5-10 minutes the machine switches off ( on 'Ready mode ) with the water still inside
sometimes it will run the cycle from beginning to end
the machine makes a clicking sound but then nothing happens
