Check Pump on front loader kenmore HE3 elite

The mixing value is leaking. I ordered a new one and will replace it.

leaks are usualy from the drain or fill pipes, or door seal(front loaders), and lastly, the pump.
I recommend starting at the hoses, then check seal, then pump

If you are experiencing drainage issues and cleaning the pump does not work, you may have to replace the drain pump. You will usually experience an "F2", "SUD" or "F21" error code (depending on model number) for a drain blockage problem. Since this error code occurs when the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump motor or impeller becomes damaged, the pump will not pump at the required volume and the error code will continue to occur. NOTE: Make sure you also check the drain hose and the inlet hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the drain pump. Small articles of clothing can commonly get lodged in this area.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.

NOTE: After 4 minutes the “Sud” error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.

Potential Causes

• Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked
• Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
• Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects
• If the above does not correct the problem replace the pump

There is a trap on washer pump I just found to be full of the same **** you find in sink trapp. That is probably why I had same problem. could also be kinked hose or pump issue. The experts at fixya just walked me through it. best ten bucks i ever spent.

check to see if there are any rips in the door seal,then take the bottom of the washer off you will see 3 screws holding it on. see if the water is coming out of the pump that is right behind the panel that you took off.

The out-put pump is possible clogged up and not moving the water efficiently, also check the pully belt is tight

The inlet valve will need to be replaced. Its a fairly simple procedure and a pretty inexpensive part.
