check the thermostat for proper setting, evap could be frozen up, the condenser fan could not be running, unit could be low on freon. start check some items and let me know.
Look in compressor section. You will find a power cord leading to compressor. Unplug that cord and plug it into an extension cord. If the compressor comes on you need a thermostat. I can hook you up with one. :) www.northeastcooling.com
Call Beverage-Air and provide both model and serial # to the parts department and they should be able to identify the year the unit was manufactured - 800-845-9800
If a local appliance repair company can't help you I would then just to google and type in the information like (Beverage Air KR48-IAS Shelfs). Lots of time that will get you started in the right directions.
