Front bottom leak from my LG TROMM HE Washer

There's a leak coming from the bottom front of my TROMM HE Washer. I think it's a door gasket problem. Any suggestions?

  • Hi
  • Try these:
  1. Inspect the water supply connections
  2. Inspect the drain hose
  3. Inspect the water pump
  4. Inspect outer tub for cracks or corrosion
  5. Inspect the tub seal
  6. Inspect the tub bearing
please rate my suggestion...

It may be black mold on the gasket, because the tub never completly dries even when you leave the door open is causes black mold to form. The mold is the same reason some washers smell funny. Try wiping the gasket and the glass part of the door. To get rid of a funky smell use the tub clean cycle with bleach on the hottest temp setting.

Water leak out the bottom of the door when it running door seam lose

If the washer is leaking water the front door boot seal might have a tear or rip and is letting water leak past. The boot seal can be replaced. This part can tear when the washer is overloaded. This is common repair.

Water leak from door of LG front load washer

First, clean off the bottom of the door glass where it contacts the gray tub gasket when the door closes. Any hair or other build up can result in leakage. Second, if that does not completely solve your leak, you can move the location of the spring which holds the tub gasket from the very bottom (6 O'clock position) to the hinge area (9 O'clock position). Third: Sometimes, the reason you get a leak is due to the installation. If the washer was pushed into place by applying pressure in the center front of the washer, the outer front panel can be slightly deformed (inwerd) resulting in leakage from the door. If that is the case, sometimes you can remove the outer clamp and outer part of the gray seal and pull out on the front panel to correct the situation if it is not too severe, rather than replacing the entire front panel.

I need to force my lg tromm to drain

My LG Tromm washer has a small door on the bottom left hand side on the front of the washer. Open the door and you will find the drain filter and a stoppered, small rubber tube. Position something to capture the washer water under the small rubber tube and pull the plug.. This will drain all the water from the washer.

Lg tromm washer leaking from front door

We have the same problem with our LG washer. Don't think the door can be adjusted but I'm not for sure. I think the gasket is wore out but haven't checked on fixing the problem yet because it barely leaks.

Front load washer leak

This could be the rubber seal or the door lock. If the door lock is not pulling it tightly closed then it needs to be replaced. Check the seal really closely and make sure there are not cracks and it does not look deformed
