The problem was a bad joystick. A local company came out to replace it and it works fine now.

It is not shutting off. You need to bring it to an expert for service. Your problem sounds like it is electronic, not mechanical.
To stop it from discharging you can disconnect the batteries. The batteries should be hooked up in series 24vdc not parallel 12vdc.

I believe this fault code indicates a left parking brake fault. Check all the connections from the motor/gear/brake assembly on BOTH motors (sometimes the controller gets confused). Follow the wires from the motor to the controller and reconnect them all. Make sure the free-wheel lever is in gear by taking out of gear, and placing back into gear firmly.
Good luck.

The issue on these is ether the motor has burned out on you or the battery is not getting enough current to turn the motor or you got a bad relay from the control panel to the motor, There is no way to diagnose this without having someone to come out to your home. But I can tell you this much my dad had one of these and his motor was the issue and when you got a motor issue in these mobility devices you might want to concider ordering a new chair if possiable. Just the parts and labor alone is over $1,500 trust me been there done that. So the best thing I can tell you is run test on the chair and if you cannot do that you need someone to visit your home to do that for you the cost to visit is like $125 bucks minium as they got to charge for there gas and there labor when they arrive. I would call the scooter store for a tech i nyour area.
Hope my information helps tho please do click the accept button for my efforts.

You need to check the little fuse and see if it is blown, if it is replace it, if not, it is like a 'check engine light' on a car, most of the newer chairs need a diagnostic test ran.... Guy
