Go to this site then tick on the right model of your laptop and find the sound card drivers. Click Here to go to support site. That is all there is to it..John
Sometimes the drivers aren't automatically updated or loaded when you install new hard drives. What I suggest is you download the sound drivers again for you Toshiba Satellite A135-S2276 laptop. Click here for the link to download site. All you have to do is enter your Operating System ( e.g. Windows 7, Vista, XP ) and you will click on the sound driver and download it.

everything on computers require drivers to run. i would suggest checking toshiba's support page for drivers. you should be able to pull up the exact laptop model and it will provide you with the sound driver(s). i would suggest you save the driver incase the driver is removed from the site when the model becomes old.
You can download any/all the Windows XP or Vista device drivers for your model laptop from the Toshiba WEB site from their download page. Make sure you enter the model of your laptop so you can get the correct drivers. Go to :-. http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp#
Go to Start/Help and search on "update drivers" without the quotes. This should list a few search results on PCs HELP files for instructions on Updating Drivers.
Else, google "sound driver toshiba p100" without the quotes and look for Microsoft or Toshiba site in search results preferably, else a driver download site you trust.
