The projector power, lamp temp lights come on no fan

Please check the filter door switch or if the fan as if the fan does not work there is an error and so the lamp will not be powered.
Check the power to the fan motor, check the lamp for failure.

We have Toshiba TDP-T05 projector - recently replaced the buld - projector starts then does not work red indicator on Fan and on button - looks like Fan bad. Can this be fixed or better to buy new.

Hi,
Before going to by a new one just try to do the following

First of all try to reset the lamp hour of your projector. For resetting the lamp hour do the following.

Make sure the main power switch is OFF. Hold the "ON", "MENU", and "INPUT" buttons at the same time and turn the main power switch on. Keep them held until the yellow power standby light comes on,

Otherwise Check the lamp cooling fan of your projector. maybe its has some problem.Do one thing, Remove the fan from the projector. In the fan there will be a specification sticker. Remove the sicker. now u can see a hole in the center. its the bearing part of the fan. put one drop of oil in it. u can use any type of lubricating oil. rotate the fan leafs with finger for some time. after that re-stick the spec sticker. insert the fan in the projector. power ON the projecto and watch.

Projector is not turning on...and turns off when on

if the lamp is good, it could be a fan not working, which would be a bad fan or bad main board. IF the fans are working, then I would have to say that the power supply was bad or the fan laying flat against the bottom in the right rear corner is bad.

Projector Works for one minute then the lamp goes out.

sounds like a fan not working or a bad power supply/ballast. If it is a fan that is not working it will cause it to shut down. That would either be a bad fan or bad main board. But, if all fans are working, most likely it's the power supply/ballast.

X1 projector's fans not working

if the fan is not moving but still receives voltage, just replace the fan. if you're sure the fan works but no voltage, hope you're good at soldering. you need to remove the main board and solder a jumper from the bad fan's power and ground to the working fan's power and ground.

I just replaced a power supply, it has one fan instead of 2. Works great but now I get an error message saying it can't find the fan (which I'm no longer using), how do I get rid of the message?

replace the fan. it needs all the fans the projector was designed with to properly cool it down. without all the fans, the lamp will overheat and cause premature lamp and projector failure. the fan has 3 wires- ground, power and sensor. if the fan spins too slow or not at all, the projector will shut down to prevent damage.

so, replace the fan.
