sound on set or a box muted or turned down?
speakers inside the set (see menu) switchedon or off?
internal/external switch somewhere in or on back of set?
Clearly it could be a audio problem (a model number?) but explore all here thatyou have not already done--make sure theremote set to TV and look for a button on it marked MTS and if there cycle it.
You can also determine if same trouble when you play a DVD. (IF SOUND WORKS VIAREAR INPUTS IT IS A SETTING IN THE TV OR THE BOX.
The projector switches off itself due to following problems.
Make sure that lamp is not used for more than its life expectancy as mentioned by the manufacturer.The projector gets over heated due to two problems. 1) The dust filters are clogged. Clean the filters. 2) The lamp life is almost over or used lamp is in use. Normally each lamp is used about 2000 to 3000 hours depending upon the manufacturer. In such case replace with new lamp.
There are many fans to control the temperature inside. Some are blower fans. Some are exhaust fans. You will have to open the projector & check which one of them is not functioning. Replace the one which is not functioning. It is also likely that there may be some failure of components.
press in the three buttons on the monitor ( + , - , and menu) at the same time , connect the power cable, that will reset the monitor to the factory settings
