Kenmore smooth top stove has a code f1 on display oven. what is wrong?

Hello,Please use the chart to determine which stove you have. You will have to look at the model number. The first 3 numbers will be the series on the chart. In most cases an F1 error would require replacement of the electronic control. This part is commonly refered to as an EOC or ERC. However this type of repair is usually reserved for repair specialists.

HI, This code is indicating that the main control board has failed. This will require you to have the damaged circuit board replaced, asap. This type of damage that has occur, is not repairable. The board must be replaced.

F-1 - Board Failure.

I have an Inglis electric stove with a self cleaning oven We turned the left dial to "CLEAN" and when turned the right dial to clean, a buzzer went off. Can you give me any advise?

I have a Whirlpool oven that is 10 years old or so. The oven stopped working today. The code that came up was E3 (in green) and F1 (in red). I would like to know what is wrong with the oven? Please send me a solution. Thanks

According to the manual, the self cleaning latch could be stuck.

If the oven door is open, press STOP/CLEAR to clear display, then depress and hold switch plunger for 6 seconds (Located in the upper right corner of the oven front) and the oven door will unlock.

If the oven door is locked, press STOP/CLEAR to clear the display then apply pressure to the upper right corner of the oven door and the door will unlock. If the "F" code reappears, contact a Sears trained repair specialist.
