I'm betting the volume switch is actually stuck and that the sound is just going down to "silent" the moment you release the "up" button. Does the sound get loud and just fade away? If so then that's probably it.
To enable/disable the silent feature on an iPhone, simply look to the left-side of the phone. There will be 2 buttons there:
1. A small, switch that goes left/right.
2. A longer longer that can be pressed up/down.
Button #1 is the silent toggle switch. Moving it to the left enables silent-mode; to the right disables silent-mode.
Button #2 is the volume adjustment button which will raise the volume if pressed up and decrease the volume if pressed down.
Note: If you press the volume bottom down all the way, the handset will mute itself. When using the volume button, a volume indicator will appear on-screen to indicate how loud/quiet the phone is. If there are no white bars present on the indicator scale, then the iPhone is muted. Press up on the volume button a few times to increase the volume and disable mute.
hello, this will require you opening the back cover of the television. Check for dry soldering and re solder in the audio section of the printed circuit board.... Good luck...
had exactly the same problem myself, changed the balance, and the selector until Sugden suggested the relay. this did the job, and my amp is sorted. Shouldv'e changed this in the first place. Good as new.

There is a little switch on the side of the phone that triggers on and off in your pocket sometimes, so if it is on silent switch it on the left side. There is also a volume adjuster on the right side.
I have a mazda 6 also I dont have a manual for it but I believe it is a safety feature as we get in and turn cd's up loud and I believe it is so that as we sllow down it fades so we can hear sirens etc around us. Mine fades down when I drop below 40km and gets louder agian when I get back up to 60km.
Can't change how many rings until it goes to voicemail. Hold the volume button on the side of your phone , it will take it off "silent mode" and then you can adjust the ringer volume accordingly. Good luck!
Did problem happen suddenly, or did the sound fade out slowly over time. Either way, this is not a fuse or button problem. Sometimes the volume knob will fail and you will hear sound from only one channel. May be able to order a new volume knob component.
Go to your sound option under settings, and there should be an option for SOUND, you should be able to increase, the volume there, Let me know how it goes, thanks Justin Please Rate Me :)
