I have an RCA Tablet RCT6773W22 Android Version 4.4.2 The tablet is in Silent Mode.

I'm betting the volume switch is actually stuck and that the sound is just going down to "silent" the moment you release the "up" button. Does the sound get loud and just fade away? If so then that's probably it.

I have a iphone 8GB and is on silent seen nd i don't know how to remove it on silent? pls can u tell me want to do?

To enable/disable the silent feature on an iPhone, simply look to the left-side of the phone. There will be 2 buttons there:
1. A small, switch that goes left/right. 2. A longer longer that can be pressed up/down.
Button #1 is the silent toggle switch. Moving it to the left enables silent-mode; to the right disables silent-mode.
Button #2 is the volume adjustment button which will raise the volume if pressed up and decrease the volume if pressed down.
Note: If you press the volume bottom down all the way, the handset will mute itself. When using the volume button, a volume indicator will appear on-screen to indicate how loud/quiet the phone is. If there are no white bars present on the indicator scale, then the iPhone is muted. Press up on the volume button a few times to increase the volume and disable mute.

Sugden a21a - intermittent loss of channel - fading in and out sometimes left, sometimes right. Always corrects temporarily when fiddle with function knob or quickly turn up volume when it bursts forth....

had exactly the same problem myself, changed the balance, and the selector until Sugden suggested the relay. this did the job, and my amp is sorted. Shouldv'e changed this in the first place. Good as new. Shaun

My iphone gets switching from silent to ringer constantly. I have it on silent right now, but it will switch back and forth from ringer to silent, vice versa

There is a little switch on the side of the phone that triggers on and off in your pocket sometimes, so if it is on silent switch it on the left side. There is also a volume adjuster on the right side.

Cannot get it off silent mode and also how to change how many rings before voice mail comes on Thank you !!!!

Can't change how many rings until it goes to voicemail. Hold the volume button on the side of your phone , it will take it off "silent mode" and then you can adjust the ringer volume accordingly. Good luck!

About 8 months old...one channel does not work...I've tried speakers and headset, one channel silent on both... we've had lightening storms, I'm on a surge protector, is it a fuse or a button I need to...

Did problem happen suddenly, or did the sound fade out slowly over time. Either way, this is not a fuse or button problem. Sometimes the volume knob will fail and you will hear sound from only one channel. May be able to order a new volume knob component.
