I am wondering what type of oil to add to my pressure washer pump. I have lost the manual. It is a MCS Storm HG 202B washer with a honda motor.

Thanks for the answers. It is the pump oil I was concerned with. The Honda engine manual was easily found on the internet, but I couldn't find any info regarding the pressure washer pump. I will check with our saw/marine store. Thanks again!!

They sell 'pump oil' I use the PRO JET brand universal pump oil. It can be hard to find. I get it from a local chain saw shop that sells pressure washers.

Hoda recomends its own oil of course you can use 5w-30 in colder climates, or its a good basic oil anymore for just about any crankcase, unless you mean a 2 stoke mix oil, then amzoil is very good for fuel mixing on 2 storkes

I cant pull the cord, everything seems to be frozen

It is possible the motor is seized or the pump component has jammed. The Honda Motor usually has an oil minder(wont start if low oil). So that being the case you may have a problem with the pump. If you are handy and have internet it is possible to download a parts/repair manual for the type of pump involved. Otherwise take it to a repair shop. Sometimes these pressure washers are more costly to fix as compared to a new one..

When adding SAE 30 oil to new pw, do we add to the pump reservoir only or do we also add to the two oil inlets on either side of the engine housing?

From what i've read in the manual you need to fill both the pump and the motor. The pump itself will have a dipstick, the motor gets filled to the top. If the motor has two inlets one should fill up when you pour in the other side. Most briggs had two motor oil inlets so the motor could be used on several types of equipment. The pump itself should use about 9.6 oz

There are 2 different places to add oil to my 3500 Honda engine pressure washer (cold). Do I use SAE 30 for the motor oil and gear oil for the other oil?

you can use sae 30 in the motor and hydraulic oil or gear oil in the pump.
just note that there may be two oil filler holes on the motor.

My Troy Bilt power washer (using Honda GCV160 engine) has no pressure coming from the pump. I checked the water flow, everything seems fine. I believe the pump needs oil added, however, I can't seem to...

I had a similar problem. Turns out I had left the hose disconnected and some sort of wasp built a paper type nest inside the washer tube that the hose connects to. I had to take the pump off and take apart and then cleaned it out with a screw driver. Not too easy to do but finally got it clean. Same thing happened with the hose.

So, if you haven't used it for awhile, check that there is no blockage in the hose or pump tubes. You might be able to blow it out with an air compressor.

What type of oil is needed for a Honda GC160 Power Washer? Honda 2500 PSI x 2.3 GPM.

The type of oil recommended for that engine is SAE 10W-30 and the capacity is 0.61 quarts. This and more can be referenced at the website at the end of this solution. I was able to find the owners manual of your particular engine.
