Montgomery ward 800 garbage disposal, provide manual

There should be a screw hole in the very middle of the bottom. It should be a 1/4" or 5/16 hex shaped hole for an Allen wrench.

Insert the wrench into the hole and then move it back and forth Until it spins easily.

Whatever is causing the drum to lock up should be extracted from inside before you run it again.

Be safe when you've got your hand in there.

Check that it's getting power first, it may have jammed I am pretty sure some units have an overload cut out switch on the side to stop them burning out if jammed, check for that too.

The motor is shorted, replace disposal.

Push reset button located bottom of disposal? Use broom stick and rotate stuck cutter disk?

make sure that the fuse is not blown, make sure there is no fork/spoon/etc stuck in the disposer. if it still doesn't work, you have to provide more information about what happens
