Not drying properly

the heating unit must have been broken. go to near by mechanic shop.

The switch you speak of is a mechanical switch with electrical contacts. If the spring inside gets rusty, it doesn't turn properly....replace it!

could ber one of a couple things. 1 the exhaust line is clogged. I know this sounds silly but if the hour air can't get out properly it throws off the entire cycle and it won't warm up right. 2 the thermostat could be bad 3 the fan could be not spinning due to being cracked or otherwise messed up

clean out lint filter check the vent hose make sure you are getting a air flow out your vent hose if not its blocked inside no air no dry it need air to dry cloths heat only will not dry plenty of air heat quicker drying

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have nottaken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then youneed to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should takeplace. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causesfor your dryer to fail.

I am assuming "how" means hot in this sentence, if so, I think I can help! There is no "steam drying" phase for your dryer so what is probably happening is; the wet clothes are being heated properly [as a result causing steam] however if this steam does not escape frum the dryer it will simply condense back onto the clothing [leaving them moist/wet].
Check your flexible tube from the dryer and the vent on the outside of your home to make sure they are unobstructed. Hope this helps!

If the dryer heats at all and you are have to dry this long you have a blocked venting system in your home or a pinched dryer hose.
