My laptop is not instaling windows 7 it stucks on windows 7 logo any solution for this problem??i had another hard disk so i already checked ram is ok every thing is working on windows xp so please tell me its solution if its grafix unit problem!!its nvidia grafix chip
It has nothing to do with withe the nvidia chip, go to the website from the laptop and look there if it supports win 7, if so than instert the dvd from win 7 and reboot it, when it ask for a key stoke so u can acces the boot envirement than do so, before u install win 7 make sure u reformat the drive first than clean install win 7
It's very common when installing Windows 7 for you to get to the Windows logo or blue windows screen and it be blank and you sometimes have to wait for anything up to 15-20mins before the installation options appear, unsure why this is but make sure you allow 30mins on that blank screen before righting it off... You also need to decide if your setting up a dual boot system if you already have XP on their, if you want to keep both then select dual boot when installing. Sorry it's not an answer but waiting 15-mins or so may give u the answer, had that happen lots of times with win7

You will need to install the drivers specific to your hard disk during the installation process. When the install pauses and gives you the option to install any device drivers, select the option to browse to the location, install the hard disk device drivers and continue with the install.
You MAY run into the problem that there are no device drivers for your specific hard drive for Windows 7 yet. If you don't already have them or can't find them on Samsung's site, try giving a call or email to their support staff and see if they have one they can provide you that will work under Win-7.

If you've installed windows xp, use this driver (click here) and if you've installed windows 7 (32 bit) you should install this driver (click here).
Please note that you have to install the ChipSet drivers before you install any other drivers.
If you want more drivers for your laptop, you can download them from here (click here), open the link, click "Download" then "Drivers" and download whatever you want/need.
