The monitor goes on but no picture. when i turn

The monitor goes on but no picture. when i turn it on the screen turns blue and then black continuosly.
I have the same problem. When I first turn on the monitor, a full screen of thin, colored, parallel lines appears. The screen flashes like it's trying to display the image, but then it flashes to the blue screen. Audio comes through fine. This just started happening. Set is three years old.

What happens if your computer's screen turns black

Try restarting the computer - turn off from the power .. only if you got a blue screen and computer goes off - that will be a problem
but black screen could be a monitor or power issue ..
try to restart and check whether you get the picture or sound or both

My monitor keeps going to a black screen a coulpe of seconds after being turned on

Video (picture) must be constantly entering a monitor for a monitor to continue to display a picture after it self tests (goes on for a second or, two) Your monitor is fine; check it using another known good computer.

The l226wtq goes black

Try shining a flashlight on the screen, or without the flashlight, try to see if you can distinguish anything on the screen at all, if you do, the backlight is dead, or the monitor has an internal most likely unfixable problem.

Monitor screen goes out (black) 2 seconds after turning on

Your site is extremely misleading and fraudulent. I was under the impression that I would at least get a hint at what might be a problem instead of you folks making me wait to get a money for something answer that you could have displayed on your main page. Places like yours have no place on the internet and I'm going to find out what I can do to report you.

Thank's for nothing

Screen goes black

The video adapter board is what controls the monitor. If you are going to replace a board that would be the one.
