It wil cost more than the clippers them selves, but generally anything with a blade like that can be sharpened. Try going to your local hair salon/barber and asking them who the use to get ther shears and scissors sharpened.

My Revlon scissors need to be sharpened. They have been sharpened in the past by mailing them in to the company. Where should they be sent?

Hello, Bill -

In trying to find the right address for you to send your Revlon brand scissors for sharpening, I found some posts about Revlon implements on this website:
https://www.merchantcircle.com/revlon-implement-irvington-nj/review/list

The posts were all about sharpening for Revlon brand tools, including scissors.

One post dated 21 Mar 2016 states:
[Quote]
Thanks to a 2013 post on this review site, I finally found the updated address for the Revlon Implement Service Dept. and mailed off my cuticle nippers for sharpening (after maybe 30 years of great service). Just ten days later, I received a brand new pair from Revlon with a note explaining that they no longer offer repairs or service but do of course honor the lifetime warranty by full replacement at no charge. The letter offered that if you ever need to return a beauty tool you can send them to the following address: Revlon Consumer Information Center, Lifetime Guarantee, P.O. Box 6113, Oxford, NC 27565.
[End quote]

So, it appears Revlon no longer offers sharpening of their beauty implements. Period.

I suggest you make sure about that. This is the link to the Revlon Contact Us page:
http://www.revlon.com/contact
There you will see a toll free phone number you can call as well as a form you can fill out to send an email message.

Best wishes.

I have a Andis Agc2 clipper the Andis blade 33/4 blade is not cutting at all. I had it sharpened but it's still dull.

Send the clipper and the blade back to whoever did the sharpening for you and let them figure it out for you. It's not unknown for a sharpen to be "bad"

I love colorstay eyeliner but the sharpener is awful. Is there another way to sharpen this liner?

have you tried cooling the eye liner down before sharping. such as keeping your eye liner in the freezer?

How to sharpen "Revlon colorstay

Hello Dear

Well your eyeliner can be sharped by normal sharpner and cosmetics as well.

With Normal sharpner: You only have to do is to place a pencil in a refrigerator for a night or for Four hours and then sharp the pencil liner softly.

With Cosmetic Sharpner: There is no need to place the liner in the refrigerator.

Hope the solution will help you, if so, please rate the answer.

How to position the clipper blade while u sharpening?

Hi!
I'm not sure about the nature of you question. Firstly if you mean, position the comb (with the adjusting lever on your clipper because your blades wont work, then:)
1.
If you move the comb downwards using the lever on the side of your clipper you will get a shorter cut, if you move it forward you will get a slightly longer cut. If your clipper makes a horrible noise, I believe there is a plastic adjuster on the side that you adjust with a flat head screwdriver. This adjusts the springs inside the clipper which effects how central the cutter moves from side to side. Adjust this while the clipper is running. You want your blades to be as central as posssible. If they still do not work, you may need your blades sharpened. This costs £5.90 incl. VAT & Postage www.sheareaseltd.com You could send your clipper to them as well and ask them to re align your blades after sharpening and they'll just charge the extra postage. (extra £5)
Hope this helps!
2.
If you mean how to hold the clipper with the blade relative to what you are clipping. You need to hold the clipper so the teeth are not pointing into your project, but not pointing away from it either. Keep the comb parallel to your project. With human hair, cut against the grain, with an animal cut with the grain!
Hope This Helps!
