Ice wont come out of automatic dispenser - Freezers

The solenoid that opens the flap is not working. You'll need a repairman to get to it .

I see you are having trouble with your Frigidaire refrigerator dispenser not dispensing ice. Do you hear the auger motor running when calling for ice? If you do not, the dispenser may be jammed or the refrigerator has a faulty auger motor. I suggest try clearing any ice that is blocking the ice chute, removing any frozen ice or obstructions, verifying that the water valve or fill tube is not frozen. If any proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately.

First photo shows paddle assembly that can be purchased you need to got to Sears web site to find part # other wise you will have to buy the whole circuit board assembly hundreds more than the paddle assembly. The circuit board and paddle assembly is removed buy removing screw on inside of door and pulling it out be careful it seems strange but it just pops out. The paddle assembly slides on to the circuit board assembly look close and take your time to slide it off I thought I was going to break mine but did not and save me big money.
Second photo shows tab for water dispensing still there.
Third photo show ice dispensing tab broken and missing.
If you leave the assembly plugged in press the micro switch for the ice dispenser and see if it works most likely the tab has broken and is what hits the switch telling the door to open and ice dispensing screw to push ice to the door. Hope this helps

Open the freezer door.
Pull the ice bin forward about 3 inches.
Push the ice bin to the rear of the freezer until it seats and locks in place.
Then try to dispense cubes.
The ice bin can become dislodged from its locked position and the crushed ice solenoid activates automatically.

my kenmore elite side by side refridge model 52699100 wont get cold

dispenser motor maybe froze up,remove your ice tray and heat the motor up with a hair dryer to defrost it until it turn ccw freeley

if its a whirlpoo at the bottom of the trim there are two slots use a flat head pull down and pry out

If the ice maker mold is empty try adding some water. Wait. If a batch of ice pops out then water valve replacement is in order. If it fails to pop out a bit of ice then the ice maker is bad. I have more information on a page I created HERE

You're funny. This is a portable 12/120 volt model. It dosn't have a water dispenser or ice maker :-)

Check that you haven't turned the ice maker off in the menu.
