www.dvdoverseas.com/voltage_converters.htm 110-220 volt voltage converter power transformer 220 volt voltage converters 240 ...run on 120 volt 60 cycles (60hz) and most of the worlds run on 220/240 volt ...
If you have a 110 volt appliance, all switches , wiring and components are made especially to handle that voltage. If you feed 220 to 240 volts into it, most certainly the machine will be unsafe and likely fail in a very short time. Purchase a step down transformer to reduce your supply voltage to 110. Most good electrical parts stores should be able to supply this.
The voltage in US is 110-120 volts and the amperage is 60 amps.
In your country the voltage is 250 volts which appears to be high as the general voltage in Asian countries 220 volts and the current is 50 amps
You have to use a transformer/adopter which can reduce the voltage from 250 to 220
Or it is a universal adopter where this aspect is covered up. In that case you have to check the amperage.
300 watt is the power consumed and has nothing to do with low/high voltage.
It sounds like something blew in a big way. Likely to be the main power supply board. The step down transformer should have reduced it to the 110 volts you require. Check the transformer to make sure it does actually reduce from 220 to 110 vac. Also check the hertz , (hz) ( cycles) Australia uses 50 hz at 240 volts ac. im unsure what hz USA or Pakistan is. Confirm your transformer output meets the electrical specification of the coffee machine. There may be a local Nespresso machine repairer who will convert yoru USA spec machine to Pakistan voltage thus negating the need for a transformer. It may be a bit expensive replacing all the electrical comonents though, it may still be worthwhile.
There is a throttle plate on the top of the engine above the front engine cover that will have a screw facing you. Turn the screw Counter clockwise to reduce engine speed and voltage. (Adjustment is for EX27 Engine speed)
Please check Input Voltage 110 ~ 240 volts AC at rear or bottm side of unit. If same is written there, its Auto Voltage Operatable and can be use on 220Volts.
You may have burnt up the motor field when it was plugged into a 220V power source. But there are drop down transformers you can get to reduce the voltage form 210 to 110. AS Radio Shack or similar store would have them.
