Gsl25jfpa bs Just replaced the motor on my gsl25jfpabs frig and the ice still will not dispense the cubes. It's making ice with no problem and the auger is free from any frozen debris and spinning freely. the water dispenses fine and I hear a clicking noise when I push the arm for ice. I first noticed the problem after going for ice one day and getting a burnt electrical smell that's why I replaced the motor thinking the auger had been frozen and the motor bound up.

Scorpio, remove the ice bin itself, dump the ice and see if you can move the bin auger by hand by turning the actuator in the rear. If the bin is ok, with the door open and the door switch held in see if the auger motor is turning when pressing the ice lever. If it's not turning the next logical step is to see whether the auger motor is getting voltage when calling for ice. Make sure the door switch is closed. The part number for the auger motor on the posted model is wr60x0202. Hope this gets you going..Catriver.

When the compressor is running, both the fan inside the freezer and the fan down by the compressor should be running. If OK, look for frost on the back wall of the freezer, indicating a probable defrost heater failure. If yes, remove back metal cover in freezer, defrost with hair blower, replace defrost heater (the thing at the bottom of the freezer coils with two wires going to it)

If you cant manually turn your auger motor, it may be bad. Does it dispense solid ice or no ice at all? Another thing may be your control panel. That could be bad too, it's the one sending juice to both your solenoid and auger motor.
