No wireless connection suddenly. internet only works by cable in laptop and home hub

Turn on your computer and locate the Wi-Fi icon. This could be located on the upper row on a laptop it will have the radiation look (((•))) Make sure its pressed on. There should be an option to "automatically connect" when it detects the network. Look for a checkbox. create the menu tab on your homepage right click in the top toolbar you should see a number of toolbar options select the menu tab which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help
click on the tools at the bottom of the drop down list will be internet options in the connections tab tick in the box never dial a connection below that will be change search defaults click on settings you will see all search providers you have if dont need any of them you can disable or remove them Power on the laptop computer and wait for the operating system to boot before proceeding. Right-click the wireless icon in the lower right corner of the desktop. From the pop-up menu select "Enable." This activates the wireless Internet options but it does not turn on the wireless receiver. Push down on the wireless button or wireless switch on the top of the keyboard. After a moments time the switch or button lights up, signifying the computer is ready for an Internet connection. Right-click the wireless icon again. From the pull-up menu choose to view all available wireless networks in the area. A window appears with all the networks your computer receives some sort of signal from. Select the wireless network you want access to, type in the password (if required) and click "Connect." Momentarily the laptop computer connects to the Internet.
you should be able to, it depends on the laptop, the os, the wireless adapter, and the settings .
Click start Control Panel - Network Connections - right click on 'Wireless connection' (or similar) and click 'enable'. right click on the network in the bottom toolbar select open network sharing center you should have the options to either connect or disconnect or set up a network connection this will vary depending on your operating system Hope this helps. b>

Cannot connect to internet

Try these two methods below.

Method 1: Check your local connections at network and sharing center, if there are two enabled or active networks. If there is two active networks, click on Local Area Connection Link (for windows 7) on one of the active networks and disable it. Now right click the internet icon on your taskbar and troubleshoot problem. If it doesn't resolve the problem, you will have an option to resolve the problem as Administrator.

Method 2: Go to local area connection status on an active network, click properties then double click on internet protocol version 4 and make sure that "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" are checked then click OK.

If it doesn't solve your problem. Please contact me so that I can assist you more further.

    Restore active desktop

As the icons have increased in size that means ur screen resolution has changed

    Goto desktop
right click on desktop  >>  Properties  >>  settings tab
now u will find the Screen Resolution adjust it according to ur requirement and u will find ur icon size small again  ( if u increase the screen resolution)

For internet settings Create a New Connection Wizard
or u can check from Network Connection whether ur Local Area Network is Enable or not.

    Thank You
