Back covers are off. Able to watch belt peel off larger pulley (load ). Noticed end stop switch hitting going farther than necessary on lower control cam. Sounds like the switch is not working, will check. Am wondering if there's a preset on the load pulley. Need a good starting point to mount belt. Please advise. Thanks.
We used to wash the belt with alcohol . Also piercing on the inside plastic where the belt sits keeps the belt in there . Either should work . If u can get a new belt would better above remedies are short time repair just incase you won't be able to find the belt .

Hi,
It sounds like there is a cd tray alignment problem, there is no quick fix, all i could suggest is to send it to us or take it to your nearest dealer.
Regards.

Take the small back cover off and take some electrical grade contact cleaner and spray all around the lens area, that worked for me.

Hi there.
I reckon that they are not being put back correctly by the loading mechanism! This is a common problem with these units. It is highly unlikely that they are actually falling off the carousel.
Open the unit, and watch it as it loads and replaces the cd's from the carousel. You will probably find that instead of grabbing the disc off of the spindle and putting it back, it might be grabbing before the cd is even in its grip. This then simply bumps the cd out of the way, and it will fall inside of the unit.
The good news is that it can be fixed with a bit of very gentle bending and persuading. But be very carefull when doing this!
Good Luck!

Thanks for the responces. Found cd loading belt to be loose. Tried soaking the belt in windex, which made the belt worse. Read some where about using amonia to shrink belts. Widex eventhough it has amonia-D did not shrink.
It's always best to order a new belt from an electronics supply. You'll have to bring the old one and estimate the size it should be. They keep after market belts of every size and shape in stock. If you use anything on rubber in the electronics field it is Rubber Renue (takes off the black and sticky parts of the rubber)
