Restart the computer and see if the blue light comes back on by itself. If you are still having problems visit the Toshiba support site for your country (or region). Download the webcam application compatible with your version of Windows (32 bits, 64 bits) and reinstall the application. Test it using the Start>Toshiba>Utilities>Webcam Application, or the Face recognition software. You close the running application by clicking the x at the top right corner of the application window

Hi Chris - don't rate this until we fix this. Try this:
Go into control panel, programs and features if using Vista. click on camera assistant software. Click on change at the top
and then choose the repair option . Let me know what happens. Thanks.
