I ave toshiba c660. its buiit-in web cam is not working properly. when i use camera a blue light turns on and after closing it the blue light is still on. when i open the webcam again for the second time its not showing me the image .
Restart the computer and see if the blue light comes back on by itself. If you are still having problems visit the Toshiba support site for your country (or region). Download the webcam application compatible with your version of Windows (32 bits, 64 bits) and reinstall the application. Test it using the Start>Toshiba>Utilities>Webcam Application, or the Face recognition software. You close the running application by clicking the x at the top right corner of the application window

Testimonial: "Thanks for the advice. I didn't use it exactly, but went to Device Manager, took a deep breath, and deleted the web-cam driver and restarted the lap top, allowing the machine to reload the web-cam driver, and surprise, the web-cam now works perfectly. Thank you very much for your kind advice. Cheers Dev D "
