SOURCE: problem with rooftop air conditioner duo therm brisk air box kit

Try having a professional check that the collant lines have not perished. Also have them check the thermostat and that there is actually gas in the system. The warm air suggests that the unit has no gas.

Flame too high on gallery gas stove

Hello Carlos - Does you range have an LP conversion kit installed? If so, I would recommend verifying that unit is set to appropriate fuel and fuel conversion kit is finished. Also trying adjusting the pressure regulator and/or air shutter.

I have a problem with my Ruud LP heater. The gas valve is model VR8440M2024. Does anyone know what the M2024 means? I have found VR8440 valves on line but don't know if they will work with my unit....

The Robertshaw 720-079 is a universal type replacement valve. It comes with an LP conversion kit. You will probably come out better off using this than trying to locate the OEM part.

I need to convert from gas to propane and I need a owners manual

Which model of range do you have? Maytag has owner's manuals for many of their appliances here: https://www.maytag.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/OCManualsLiteratureSearchView?catalogId=10562&langId=-1&storeId=10212&krypto=5QgxQhneFliXuEuX564wSQ%3D%3D&ddkey=http:OCManualsLiteratureSearchView . Enter the model number and click Search. Most ranges will have the serial number on a plaque below the display, on the frame of the oven (behind the oven door), on the frame of the storage drawer (visible when the drawer is open) or near the legs of the unit.

Often the conversion kit is sold with the range and is attached to the back of the range near the regulator. The instructions are in the kit. (Note this should be done by a professional. Your propane company may have a person available to do the conversion.) If the conversion kit is not supplied with the range, you should be able to order it from the manufacturer. (Some manufacturers will only ship the kit to the service person who will do the swap.)

Please add a comment with your model of range for additional information. (There are some manufacturers who do not supply conversion kits and you must order the correct range from the factory.)

The conversion is usually straight forward. Swap the regulator from NG to LP by turning over the part (it's labeled clearly) in the regulator. Using a small nut driver, swap the orifices for the cooktop. Do one at a time and check the labels. (My range conversion kit has a different set of letters on the NG orifices (A-G) and the LP orifices (L-R). Others use different colors for each orifice.) Then open the oven and swap the broiler orifice and the bake orifice. Rotate the air flow valve appropriately.

I hope this helps.

Unit starts and cools, when thermostat cycles it won"t restart compressor, fan runs only

If what you are stating is true the only possibility is that the compressor only starts when it is cold, once it has run for a cycle it can't start. Verify it is getting power on trying to start for 2nd time if so try a hard start kit

I have a char griller grill.Iam trying to find a gas conversion kit for my 3000. Rey from phx az.

If the grill can be converted it will be labeled as duel fuel. If it is not labeled as duel fuel, then you will most likely not find a conversion kit for it.
