Look at your system. Does it have any blinking lights or LED error code? If a light is blinking, count the blinks to get the error code. Note: if you turn off the power to the unit, the code will reset. You may need to wait for the next call for heat to see the code.
Check your fan motor. If the blower isn't running properly, the furnace will shut off with an over-temperature issue inside the unit. You should also check the air inlet/exhaust pipe for blockages. (This could be a flue or two independent pipes.) Finally, the problem could be with the internal control board communicating with the rest of the forced air system.
You may need a service technician to fix the problem.
I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the make and model and any error code for more information.

(Last winter, my own house had the fan motor fail. It started as an intermittent failure to circulate the air and the combustion chamber getting super hot. Replacing that motor fixed the problem.)
Did you check power and gas? Did you check air filter? Is the venter motor coming on? Is blower motor coming on? Is there any blinking lights on board. What is M# S# of unit
Probably a lint buildup on the sensor. Need to clean the entire lint system. Should be able to remove the plastic frill if the lint filter is inside the drum. Remove the two screws and clean out all the lint then pull the dryer out remove the vent hose. Run a vacuum hose or reach up i to there and pull out the li t. Then clean out the vent hise...a broom handle works if it's a straight shot.
check your filter if thats clogged that will send a four flash limit open or your blower motor might be bad these units are known to have popped rings and cracks on thier heat exchangers if there isnt enough airflow if your filter is clogged or motor is shot i would call someone monday and get your heat exchanger inspected
there are many things to be checked if you can try this is the solution.but cant do if not getting it properly. because the problem is very minor because the power light is coming.you can call the tecnician the cost will not more than his service charge.
the procedure is here you can check if you can
, over temp protection activating due to insufficient ventillation or motor is defective and heating up excessively.normally if both drum support wheels are worn or defective, plus if veld strip on drum is worn, motor will overwork and fail.
your dryer is a 220 plug check the circuit breaker first one 110 runs the heating element and the other 110 runs motor and dials this is usually the cause of dryer malfunctions heating elements are simple big mesh of curled metal wire like a toaster but more of it it would take alot to knock out the heating element check the dials too these could be sticking or worn dials you dont have to run dryer to check dials thanks mam
There's something wrong with your aircon. Usually the lights will start to blink. Depending on the brand and model, the number of times it blinks will give you an error code which tells you what's spoilt. You may like to check this out http://www.astiquer.com/blinking.html
