ok you will need a good set of audio aux cables the gold plated ones are the best thay get a better conection and conect the cables to the tvs audio out jax located on the back or side of the tv they will be collor coded red for left channel and wight for the right channel to the surround sound receiver audio in jax on back of the receiver marked aux in

i wanted to program lg plasma smart tv remote with samsung blu ray,was so easy! with tv on conect blu ray hdmi to tv and press simplelink button on remote, and automaticly turns blu ray on.... thats all !!!! u can use only remote when watching movies...
