When I turn it on it says Realtek PCIe FE Family

When I turn it on it says Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller Series v1.23 (07/28/10) PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM. Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key_ I looked in BIOS and it does not detect my hard drive. I put a new one in and it still will not detect it. I checked the cable and it is connected properly to the motherboard. I also looked at the solder on the motherboard and it seems to be just fine. When it went down, it did it slowly. It gave me problems starting up then would start in safe mode then eventually went to a blinking underscore. Now I just get this message.

I think the realtek PCIe controler is your video display controler

This issue is often caused by either an incorrect setting in CMOS Setup or a bad boot device, such as a bad hard drive.

How can I fix the error I am receiving at initial start up? See details section for Error and description of what has already been done to try and fix.

It sounds like the hard drive in your machine has failed. It uses a standard 2.5" SATA hard drive (Most likely 9.5mm thickness maximum, most are that.) Hopefully you have made a recovery CD set from the recovery partition on the drive.

This sounds like a hard drive failure, try your recovery disc if available, if no change! have the hardware checked for possible replacement.

Computer does not boot:

Press [F2] when you see the message, and see if it will enter the BIOS. See if it detects your Hard Drive....it does not appear to.

you may have a bad hard drive or a corrupted boot sector. Take to a repair shop and they can test the hard drive for you.
