Thanks for your help...the pump wasn't draining water due to blockage , an undergarmet had actually got sucked through the hole in tub, which wouldn't allow the water to be pumped out fasr enough. Thanks for your help...the pump wasn't draining water due to blockage , an undergarmet had actually got sucked through the hole in tub, which wouldn't allow the water to be pumped out fasr enough.

SL is a suds lock code it can be caused by the drain pump not draining the water, too much detergent, non HE detergent, or extra heavy loads, try running it empty, if code persits it is a computer failure

Have you cleaned your machine lately? They make an in wash boost- it gets rid of the extra suds built up inside the machine that you cant see but your machine detects it and causes faults such as that. Also, there is a small wire on the control board that may need replaced if it keeps kicking the error code.
First are you sure the error code is 'LE' and not 'tE' which looks very similar. The LE is usually the motor position sensor. Common on older washers. Easy fix. Under $20 part. The tE error is usually the thermistor. Inexpensive part about $6, but can be more complicated to get to. Ad a comment to your question and my answer with error code and I'll reply with more info if needed.
if it spins when you remove the wieght out of the tub i'd change the belt and if that's not the problem the tranny is bad but try the belt first, most likely that's what it will be,stop overloading the washer the part number for the belt is 25001054 and it's around 15 bucks
if there a advance cycle button push it an see if the timer will advance to spin if not turn the power off to washer an wait a couple mintue an the door will open
I'd love to say yes! The machine is stopping because it will not drain. This is what the nd code means. Therefore, it will not rinse (add more water) or spin because the water level is already too high and to try to "spin it out" would put too much pressure on the machine with that much water in it. Drain out the water by putting the drain hose below the level of the washer (this takes forever) and call your repair man back!
its probably a blocked water filter to this fabric water valve or the coil has failed on the valve,it should be 3800kohms,check the filter at the water inlet connection, hope this helps
With no error code on your FAV6800AW or FAV9800AW I will still give it shot.I believe you are failing in spin cycle.See this Post and the post I link to for a step by step clutch maintenance/repair.If you have more info on the failure or questions post back and we will try to help.
load too small. • Load is out of balance. • The washer has an imbalance detection and correction system. If individual heavy articles are loaded (bath mat, bath robe, etc.) and the imbalance is too great, the washer will make several attempts to restart the spin cycle. If an imbalance is still detected, the washer will stop and the error code will be displayed. • Add 1 or 2 similar items to help balance the load. • Rearrange items to help balance the load.
