Make sure that there is not a manual limit that has tripped and needs to be reset. Roll out limits, and check primary limit. On some models if a limit is tripped the blower starts to run right away. I don't know if this will fix it. But that is where I would start if I was working on this problem. Then I would check if the combustion blower starts and then if it makes the pressure switch. Then check if the ignitor is sparking or glowing and getting power to it. A good volt meter will help in checking. Good Luck.
If the blower on your Armstrong ultra 93 sx furnace is making loud noises, it could be due to a number of issues. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
Check the blower wheel for any debris or obstruction that may be causing the noise. Use a flashlight to inspect the wheel and remove any debris you find.
Check the blower motor and bearings for wear or damage. If the motor or bearings are worn, they may need to be replaced.
Check the blower belt for wear or damage. If the belt is worn or damaged, it may need to be replaced.
Check the blower housing for any loose or damaged components. Tighten any loose components and replace any damaged parts as needed.
Check the ductwork for any obstructions or blockages that may be causing the noise.
have you checked your filter yet? the other thing to check is open the fan door and jumper the door switch,if there is one, and turn the furnace on. is the fan blowing air now?
Hello, if all the burners are not firing up then they must be cleaned out, usually dirt gets in the crossover parts of the burner and the gas cant flow to all the burners and therefore the flame sensor will turn off the furnace for safety. Clean the burners out this should fix the problem.
Installed a new filter and furnace is running great now. The old filter was not that old, but we have been doing some remodeling and I figure that is what clogged it so fast.
You have a dirty flame sensor. Look at the very last burner and you will see a wire going to a ceramic sensor and it looks like a thick wire. Take some steel wool or fine sandpaper and clean the surface off and it will work like a champ.
