SOURCE: how do i fly my spin master air hog rc helicopter
If its a Reflex twin rotor Heli use the trim wheel on top to counteract the spin and at least stabilize the craft at hover. Then use the right/left froward backward fans to control flight, (right joystick on the controller). These fans are not very powerful so don't expect alot from them other than turning the craft right left and reverse. Seems there is too much down draft from the rotors to effectively move the Heli forward. Not a real good design. The Sharpshooter is easier to fly but uses the batteries in the controller as a charger so they don't last real long.

If you trimmed your heli but it still can't work, try using the direction knob to trim it instead. When it goes clockwise push th knob leftwards and hold, and vise versa for anti-clockwise. Or, push and release repeatedly in the direction mentioned till it flies straight. Tested on around 6 air hogs helis and works each time. If you still can't trim you might try it after turning it off or contact the service centre.

make sure the tail motor does not have any hair stuck in it take of the little propeller and clean it.
next adjust the trim so when your taking off so helicopter will not spin any more and your good to go

To fix: Look at the flybar and check for even flybar paddles (if looking down the flybar make sure one is not angled differently than the other) you can twist them a little to manipulate them. #2 the small extensions connecting the flybar to the links may be bent up or down. Again, looking down the flybar make sure they are pretty level with one another (you can slightly bend them back but be gentle. #3 There is a pin connecting the flybar to the head that goes through. What happens is, after a few bang into things this can start to move out just a fraction of a mm. You will notice that the flybar can move back and forth like it should very easily but there is also a little play rocking it the other way that it is not supposed to go. this amount will be very small but plenty to adversely affect the heli. take a pair of needle nose pliers and carefulle push that pin in just a touch until the flybar tightens enough to stop the movement. Be sure its not too tight so it takes away from the easy movement the flybar is supposed to have. I 100% promise its not the tail motor.
