1. Oil level rise in the crank case because the D4 pump will be leaking petrol into the engine thereby cause high fuel consumption
2. Car stalls when hot, only starts after cooling
3. Car miss fires, loses power due to insufficient fuel pressure in the fuel rail

The D4 model Rainbow has a Thermal Cut Off
This has to be manually replaced. It is attached to the Field 120v D4
If this has blown, then most likely something is causing. The Armature Tall 120v D4 could be going bad.

Sounds like it is getting stuck in D4. Which I would think is Automatic 4 wheel drive, I don't know what vehicle you have. If you have a switch for D4 start car and put in N then turn switch on then off again. Then put car in D and drive and see if that fixed it. If not check your manual for D4 issues. If you're finding it difficult to service/repair your car, get one of those online manuals. You'll not have to wait for others to answer, or rely on mechanics and all.

It will blink a set number of times to tell you what diagnostic trouble code it has. I would first check the fluid to make sure it is still red in color and not too low just to make sure that your not doing any damage to the transmission by driving it. Then you can get a cheap repair manual like a "Haynes" manual from any auto parts store.
