My GE side by side doesn't maintain temperature as cold as it should. The doors have been replaced by the recall. The ice maker usually ends up making a giant lump of ice, it seems as if there is always moisture on the sides not ice crystals and water droplets on the wire shelves. Anything that comes in a box like frozen waffles the box gets soggy. The GE oven service technician says to maintain temp setting at 5 of 10 but do not notice any difference at any setting.
The door seals are letting air in or the seal at the ice dispenser has gone bad and is letting outside(hot) air in and it is the cause of the moisture.

Mick...there may be any number of reasons for this. First, check for a bad door gasket. It must be clean and fit snugly around the unit. Use a piece of typing paper about 2 inches wide to pull through. It should pull with some resistance anywhere you try. If it is gappy, humidity can leak in.
Next, make sure the condenser coils are clean. Third, how cold is your freezer? Is should be about 5 degrees or so if it is kept closed for about 6 hours or more.
Is the ice maker clean and not overflowing? Many units can be removed and cleaned out.
You may have other issues...start with these.

see if the back wall inside of freezer have ice if so you have to change tiker board or check your doors if closing

did you also change the temp. sensor that's on top of the evap coil?if you didn't you'll smoke every board you put in there,on some models when you change out the board you also have to change out the evap fan motor that has the sensor connected to it,but i cut out the sensor and connect a new one to the wires and keep the fan motor, also you have to check to see if you have a wire in pin one of the 9 pin connector,it tells you in the instructions,if there's a wire in there you have to cut it,the sensor part number is wr55x10025,but check that with your parts store,it looks like a white bullet and if it has a black like gasket on it where the wires connect to it that's your problem if you changed out the board and didn't change the sensor.let me know how you make out

Sorry to hear about your problem.
Sounds like you have a defrost issue. Hence your unit is not defrosting. All of this apply's if your freezer side has ice . If not. you have other issues, this does sound funny, but this is why your refrigerator side is warm, or not cooling.
Here is a list of some things that can go wrong.
1. Defective heat coil
2. Defective defrost timer
3. Defective defrost sensor
4. Defective Fan
5. Defective compartment inlet damper (on some models)
You should call a service company to resolve your issue.
