SOURCE: My pictures are always to red

The screen control setting may need to be adjusted - the screen contol is a service adjustment and is located internal to the TV. If you turn the TV to a blank channel or video input with nothing connected is the prevailing color red? if so adjusting the screen control may help. You would have to take off the front panel and remove the covering- let me know if you want to go ahead and I'll guide you further - caution since high voltage is present in this area.

Can't get picture too get any brigther ,,have bright adjustment all the way to bright

There are several brightness adjustments on this TV. Download the manual from the following link. Set the size to a readable %. Then click "Edit", then "Find", and type "bright", then click "Next" repeatedly to review all your brightness options. http://www.manualslib.com/manual/82813/Jvc-Lt-32e488.html#product-LT-37E488

Picture has too much blue, and picture is dark

Go to your TV MENU (you can find the button on the remote or on the TV itself)
Go to PICTURE SETTINGS- here you will find color settings and brightness settings
Go to COLOR SETTINGS and just adjust the bars until the picture on the screen is the right color.
Go back and click on BRIGHTNESS- here you can adjust the bar to make it brighter and easier to see your picture.
Save your settings and exit the tv menu.

I cant get the color right. its to red??? any help? i did notice with the back cover off, there are 6 adjustment screws

yes! those are the screen and focus adjustments. 3 for screen, 3 for focus. try this. go in menu....turn down color, brightness, contrast all they way down. you should then have no picture, but in your case a little red. then go to back of tv and turn those 3 screen adjustments all the way down. slowly turn the screens back up until you get barely a picture. because remember, your brightness and contrast is all the way down. the picture should be dim but seeable and with red, green, blue adjustments, make it a black and white picture. when balanced..... turn up color , brightness, contrast in menu. enjoy!

Adjusting darkness

Hi Angel,
Are you really sure , your set has video? How dark is it ? As if really nothing visible? Am, sure you can hear sounds. You can adjust the brightness + button to increase the brightness. But if nothing happens , you have problem with your TV set. The problem might be in the Video section. Please let an expert technician to check it. Please don't do it by yourself, it's risky.
Please send feedback whatever comes up. So we can help you further in the future.

Thanks,
Eriez

Mitsubishi VS-6041- picture brightness not very bright

Hi Dawn,
The TV does have a screen control on each of the picture tubes ( there are 3 ) although I do suggest you have a qualified technician make the necessary adjustments as an improper adjustment can cause damage to the set. Should you deside to make these adjustments yourself, you'll need to remove the back ( or front in some sets) ( PRE-CAUTION, UNPLUG THE SET FROM THE WALL BEFORE PREFORMING ANY ADJUSTMENTS INSIDE THE SET ) The screen adjustments are located either on the bottom of each tube or in a group component located where the main High Voltage Wire ( large red wire from the black transformer on the deflection board ) is connected to. Look for a turn pot ( screw type adjustment ) that is marked SCREEN. When you locate it ( whether it be on each tube or in the group component ) turn it up only slightly and not to much, as excessive gain ( turning it up to much ) may cause the TV to shut down. When you have the proper brightness ( when it looks good to you ) close the set up and enjoy the renewed picture. Good luck and I do hope this has helped in some way
