Bissell lift off vaccum is very noisy what can I do

1 Check the impeller to make sure it is not missing part of a blade or has something jammed in it that could throw it off balance.
2 Check the bearings on the rotating brush, especially at the belt end.
3 Remove belt and turn on. If noise still persists, it likely would be the motor is shot.

Same, I have the same issue with this model. Brush motor is working but not the vaccum motor. Any ideas?

I have the same issue too. Brush motor is working and brush is turning on but the vaccum motor is not working. If I take the canister out of the frame then it wont turn on at all. Any help?

There are threee filters inside this unit. Be sure all three are clean. You can't clean the Hepa filter. You can only replace it. You may even try pluging it in and running it (not while vacuuming the carpet) without the filters to see if it is clogged up anywhere. It's not uncommon to **** up an object that doesn't fit though the vaccum hose very well and for that item to cause hair etc to catch on it and plug that hose. Before you know it you have a big plug in that hose. The hose detaches easily. Look through it.

You need to replace the belt and when you have the roller brush out to do that you need to clean it off really well. Here is a link to the belt you need and the manual which has instructions:

You can fix it easily. All you need to do is change the belt and you'll be good. Here is a link to the belt you need and the manual which has instructions.

If belts are ok then possibly needs new front brush motor replaced.

Check the connections on the bottom of the lift off part, and the matching connector on the bottom section. If bad, take it to a warranty repair shop for Bissell. Other wise it could be the brush motor that is bad, or the switch is bad.
