Most likely the little 1/4 inch line that feeds your fridge is either partially blocked with deposits or partially crimped. pull out the fridge and look for a sharp bend in the feed line. if you don't see that, then think about replacing the feed line with a new one.

Water dispenser stop working? ice maker is fine. How do you fix this? I changed the water filter hmmm..

You have two points where you can check the dispenser water. At the rear where the water supply comes in is the water inlet valve. If you disconnect the dispenser water line and then see if the water comes out when you try the dispenser. You should hear the valve work when you try the dispenser. If you don’t hear it there it’s a dispenser actuator switch problem. If you do hear it but water doesn’t work here there is a valve or water supply problem. If it's normal, disconnect it at the bottom of the freezer door and try again. If it's normal here it may be frozen in the door. If this is the case open the door till it thaws. A blanket over the opening will prevent thawing of all the food.

We have a jenn-air jfc2087hrs (french door model) and the water pressure from the internal water dispenser is very low. the line has plenty of pressure.

If your ice maker is making full size cubes then it should one of 2 problems.
The water valve on the bottom back of the machine is a dual valve. One side feeds the ice maker, the other side feeds the water supply.
1. The dual water valve. is going bad. The water side is malfunctioning.
The dual valve must be replaced.
2. Your model should have filters for the water dispenser, and need replaced.
Try changing the filters first.

JCD2389GES water dispenser over-runs and also starts on own

Low water pressure can be very problematic when it comes to icemaker/water dispenser water inlet valves. If there is low water pressure to the valve, the valve may not seat correctly causing icemaker fill tubes to freeze, icemakers to over/under fill or water dispensers to leak or not shut off fast enough. Check the water pressure to the valve like this:

Turn off the water supply to the refrigerator and remove the water supply line from the water inlet valve behind the refrigerator.

Put the end of the water line in a bucket and turn the water supply on. There should be a good stream of water jetting from the tube. If there is not, the water supply shut off valve is probably plugged and needs to be replaced or there could be an in-line water filter that needs to be replaced. Only use a drill style (non-self piercing) saddle valve http://www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?s=t-584723-%3d%3di584723&PartID=584723 for the water supply.

If there is a good stream, the water inlet valve that the water line connects to at the back of the refrigerator should be replaced.

*Note: Reverse Osmosis (R/O) systems should never be used to supply water to icemakers.

Jenn air Mdl#jcd2389ges Very slow water dispenser

You will probably find that if you have a water filter in your model refrigerator that is is clogged. Replace the filter and voila, good flow again. You probably also have small or hollow or chip ice cubes as well, if your filter is clogged.
To save the cost of the filter you would need to check to make sure you are getting strong water flow to the solenoid valve located in the bottom rear of your refrigerator.
I hope I helped, supertechks

Jenn Air JCD2389GES ice dispenser problem

You could have a layer of solid ice at the bottom of your icetray. Remove icetray. Remove any ice in bottom. Reinstall. Be careful there is a connection on the rear of the icetray, you may have to turn it to get it to mesh correctly. Fill with ice and it should work fine. Good Luck.

Jenn air jcd2389g side by side refrigerator water leak

sounds like a leak where your incoming water line hooks to the water valves might just need to tighten the coupling or a mouse has chewed through one or both of the lines access the lines on the back and watch while some one gets water out the door to locate the leak
