Use a little instant start spray to see if it will start. If it does you need to clean out the carb. See what model carb you have and buy the rebuild kit online. They are 12 bucks or so and easy to install with simple hand tools. You can look online for a video of the rebuild as a reference as well. If you cant start the machine on instant start check for spark. If you have no spark you probably need a new coil. Also easy enough to do with a reference video. But the coil in on the engine inside all those plastic pieces! Good luck and be careful!

I have a new Comfort Aire RAD-101. From time to time it would just stop working and then turn back on after a few minutes. Any ideas as to what causes this, A/C is installed in the Caribbean?

my option before it is to late is to remove the cover and clean out the blower as it could have a lot of junk there causing the blower motor to over heat and shut down.

Why is the dip stick blowing out

You must have blown a gasket. Most likely the head gasket. Won't take long till the motor stops complete.

Blower motor coms on when i shut car off

So does mine, the blower fan will just run till the temperature sensor reaches the set point, usually a few minutes. If it does not stop within 10 minutes you need to have the temperature sensor checked out.

1993 chev g-20 van. Heater fan sometimes just quits, then a few minutes later comes on.

You'll need to know if the blower motor has power and ground when it stops running. Could be the blower motor, the resistor, or a wiring problem.

Blower motor will not blow

There is what they call a blower motor resistor which located under the passenger side of the dash board. There are a few wires that run to it which need unplugged/disconnected and one screw. It will take you a few minutes to relplace but should take care of the issue.

Blower fan runs when car is off

{: ) If the blower fan runs after switching off the ignition and then automatically stops after a few more minutes, it is possible that your afterblow option is enabled. The purpose of the afterblow is to dry out the moisture inside the HVAC module preventing the accumulation of odor causing bacteria. If this is the case, then that will be part of normal operation.
Otherwise, you may be having problems with the HVAC wirings, the blower relay may be stuck, the blower resistor could be shorted.

The heater blower on my 95 honda civic isnt working i changed the control panel and still not working.there seems to be live feed to the blower and when tapped the motor it run for a few minutes then...

Have you checked the resistor block that controls the fan speed? The fact that the blower will run after you tap it suggests to me that the motor is possibly faulty. You will have to remove the fan assembly, then feed it 12 volts directly and see what happens. If it continues to run then work back from there,if it heats up or stops you have your culprit.Good luck.

The heater blower keeps running even when the key is out of the ignition

When did it start doing this? How soon after does it stop? Does it stop blowing by itself?

1. The vacuum system has a leak and sounds like rushing air. When vacuum reaches atmosphere pressure, the sound will go away.

2. In the 1980's and prior years, Olds keeps the fan running in order to remove moisture in the heat panel. I hated that.... it stops after a few minutes.

While ac is running, the fan blower comes on for a couple of minutes then stops and there is a humming sound at the blower motor. Is it the blower motor?

yes the blower motor is trying to go out. you can probably take it out of the casing and spin it with your hand to get it going again but it will only last a few min. i would suggest to by a new a/c
