You might have open it up to check if there is any meltdown causing short circuit or check if there heat sinks of both CPU and GPU are intect with thermal paste or not.

Hi David, had the laptop to bits and can not see any signs of a meltdown. The thermal paste looks fine on both CPU & GPU. Thanks for your advice.

My 2005 chevy cobalt overheated and shut off now the starter will not engage

By engage, do you mean it tries but cannot turn the engine over? Or does absolutely nothing happen when you turn the key? No click or anything? If the engine won't turn over, you may have seized the engine when you overheated it......

Try to turn on my ps3,after 2or3 sec it turns off and just blinks

HI, the power unit is experiencing some difficulties due the an overheating issue. if the light is turning yellow at any time, this will confirm a overheating issue. Now, if the light is simply turning red and, powering off then system with a red blink, this will confirm a power unit failure. you will need to replace the power unit in this case.

Contact your nearest Sony repair shop of, contact Sony manufacture for this repair.

NOTE(If its a simple overheating issue, you can purchase a cooling device to heel this issue)

Radiator fan not turning on 02 intrepid

maybe the sensor that turns on the fans might of gone bad . . and turning on the ac when engine is gettin hot is not going to help instead turn on the heater to reduce the heat , also overheating causes hoses and gaskets to get soft and get destroyed

Does not boot, after turned off suddenly

check to see that it is not overheating. If cpu fan is not blowing (could be frozen up) or if the fan in the power supply is clogged with dust, the computer may be overheating and refusing to some on. If it is dust, arrange to blow it out completely. take off cover and try to start the machine, the fan should turn on the CPU.

It turns off within 5 minutes of it turning on

Yes, this could be caused by overheating. If this is due to overheating, it's most likely that the processor has burnt up. You will need to take it in for a professional hands-on diagnostic in order to find the exact cause of the problem. Overheating can cause several different issues within a machine.
