Hi - We have an LCD tv (32 in.) that we have had for about a year and it just displaying yellows and greens strangely (e.g., green baseball fields look like a pale avocado color and people's faces look yellow). We tried adjusting the color controls but it didn't do much so we went back to the default. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
I have the same problem, but my cables are all plugged in properly...what else can i try to fix the color issue?I have the same problem, but my cables are all plugged in properly...what else can i try to fix the color issue?

Just like in Solution 3. Color was off. Looked in back and cables "appeared" to be ok. However, I disconnected the cables one by one and amazingly the color returned. So make sure your color cables are truly connected.
I had the same problem and checked my cables on the back of my TV AND my cable box, sure enought my red cable was disconnected from the cable box. Problem solved! As infuriating as it is to see an expensive appliance bite the dust a week or so after warranty, we all forget the the law is on our side. Any appliance that costs a reasonable amount of money should be expected to last longer than 12 months. My $2500 LG Plasma died 2 months after the warranty expired, and of course LG didn`t want to know about it. One call to LG from consumer protection to remind them that a $2500 TV should last at least 4-5 years, resulted in my Plasma being repaired free of charge. I could tell that they wern`t happy about it, but they knew I was in the right. TRUE STORY!
I had the same problems, called LG customer service, advise to check components cable, and make sure they were all blugged in correctly, ans sure engough, the red cable was discontected ,and after correcting that, the problem was solved

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.
Hi: You may have a problem with the inverters in the unit, they are responsible for lighting up the back panel. Check or have checked the power supply voltage to the inverters, should be around 18-24 volts DC. Also leaky capacitors on the power supply will cause this issue as well as leaky or puffy capacitors on the inverter.
You have to option in LCD Source In-Put.All LCD Have this In-Put Com posit-Yellow/Red/White (AV) In LCD Select AV Mode After That Connect Yellow /Red/White as per color pin given in your LCD. Component-Green/Blue/Red If you have Component in put in your LCD than select from source component mode for Red/Blue/Green.
Check your component cables. You have 3 colors coming in. Red,Green and Blue. Make sure the Red cable is good. You can do this by substituting the red cable only, or just change all 3 cables
I have the same problem, but my cables are all plugged in properly...what else can i try to fix the color issue?
