Amana ATB1832ARQ Top Freezer Refrigerator - Freezer door not seal

This refrigerator is only a couple of years old and just now the freezer door does not seal on the side by the handle. (Since our children are grown and on their own, we can't blame them for swinging on the door.) It seemes like it happened all at once. Can the door be adjusted? or does the gasket/seal need to be replaced. If there is a magnet in the seal, it sure is weak. I can push the seal against the body of the fridge, but it doesn't stick there.
What is the manufacturers warranty? Thanks

I had ot put a real thin shim behind the hinge, (made from the cardboard of a cereal box) and it worked. Thanks

I just hadthe same problem. Somehow it had become dislocated from the track. It also had a space of a quarter inch on the top corner that closed when I got it back on track.

OPEN THE DOOR WIDE . YOU SHOULD SEE THE HINGES THAT SUPPORT THE DOOR. LOOSEN THE SCREWS THAT SUPPORT THE DOOR----JUST LOOSEN , THEN LIFT UP ON THE DOOR AND TIGHTEN THE SCREWS. NOW YOU CAN LET GO OF THE DOOR. I HOPE THAT WORKS FOR YOU . GOOD LUCK.

I have a three year old Amana ABB2527DEB. The Freezer seemed to be overworking and the fridge was 68 degrees. Took everything out of unit and unplugged it for more than 24 hours. Cleaned it inside,...

This could be a double problem.
Yes the auto defrost cycle seems to have failed allowing an ice build up.
Secondly the door seal is leaking allowing warm moist air to sneak in. You probably need a door gasket too.

Refrigerator is warm, but freezer is cold and still making ice. This is a 3 year old Amanna Bottom Freezer model. There is frost in the top of the freezer drawer when I putt it out.

you will need to defrost it. the freezer is what keeps your fridge cool. the vent where the cool air goes up to your fridge is sealed or frozen.
unplug the fridge and open the doors and let it defrost.
plug it back in after a few hours and it should be working again.

Refridgerator door sags

Its a two person job. One person has to looses up the two hidges holding the door just slightly while the other person holds the door in place. Once in place tighten the screw/bolts for the hidges back up and check. If not aligned, redo it again until it is aligned and seals properly..
Good Luck!

My frigidaire refrigerator is sweating on the inside. what should i do? its a one door model with ice maker and freezer on top. i don't remember the model. 5 years old.

High humidly could cause condensation or the magnetic seal could be bad.
A couple of things to try;
The easiest thing to do first is to clean around the rubber seal very good with mild soap and water and the metal which the magnetic rubber seal contacts to seal the door. If you find a crack or a deformation of the seal it will let condensation it the refrigerator.
Does the freezer auto defrost or is a lot of ice bult up around the freezer walls? If so manually defrosted the freezer.
Dripping from the Ice maker water supply?

Amana bottom freezer refrigerator

could be the cause. check by putting a slip of paper between seal and cabinet and with door shut, check paper is gripped all round the door. if it is not, try warming the seal with a hairdryer in the faulty place and pulling the seal out gently. many of these seals are foamed in and impossible or v dificult to replace. check also that the hinges are not worn
