I have an HE2 Model 110.47571601. The power will not come on. We had an appliance technician come and he diagnosed the problem as a control board. He ordered the board and returned but he said they got the "A" board and he needed the "B" board. Later that day he called to say that the board is backordered until December. I see a control board online and available for this unit, but it says nothing about an A or B. Is there really two boards or am I just being played. If there are two, where can I order teh B board and how can I find out more about it? Thanks for your responses.

There are two control boards (parts 3 and 6) shown here: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/model-number/11047571601/0582/0153200.html . Make sure to look at the Control Panel diagram. Part 3 is http://www.searspartsdirect.com/part-number/8540490/0026/110.html?modelNumber=11047571601&categoryName=Residential%20Washers&brandName=KENMORE . Part 6 is http://www.searspartsdirect.com/part-number/W10022320/0026/110.html?modelNumber=11047571601&categoryName=Residential%20Washers&brandName=KENMORE . With these part numbers, you should be able to find them online. They will be listed as Whirlpool or Whirlpool OEM parts.

If you add a comment with the problem that led you to have a technician look at the washer, I will confirm which board is which. I suspect part 6 is the B board but I'm not certain of that.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Power button beeps three times.

Try to unplug power cord for 10 minutes and plug in. If you have manual on hand, follow instruction to find error code on your machine. Please tell problems before it went dead. Thanks.

Elite 507 the consul lights come on but nothing works

If the console lights come on but nothing works on your Elite 507 appliance, there are a few possible reasons why this may be happening:
  1. Power supply: Make sure that the appliance is properly plugged in and that the outlet is functioning properly. Check the circuit breaker or fuse to see if it has been tripped or blown.
  2. Control board: The control board is responsible for regulating the functions of the appliance. If the control board is faulty, the appliance may not work. Try resetting the control board by unplugging the appliance for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.
  3. Faulty wiring or connections: Check the wiring and connections in the appliance to make sure that everything is properly connected and not damaged or broken. If any wiring or connections are faulty, they may need to be repaired or replaced.
  4. Defective components: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it's possible that there may be defective components in the appliance, such as a faulty motor or sensor. In this case, the defective components may need to be replaced.
If you're unsure about any of these steps or are not comfortable working with electrical appliances, it's always best to contact a professional technician or repair service for assistance. They can help diagnose and fix the problem safely and effectively.

Neff T18FD36X0/01 display flickering, not staying on.

If the display on your Neff T18FD36X0/01 appliance is flickering and not staying on, there could be a problem with the control board or the display module itself. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the power supply: Make sure that the appliance is getting power by checking the outlet and the power cord. You can also try plugging in another appliance to see if the outlet is working properly.
  2. Check the control board: If the power supply is fine, the next step is to check the control board. Turn off the power to the appliance and remove the control panel cover to access the control board. Look for any loose wires, damaged connectors or burnt components. If you find any issues, you may need to replace the control board.
  3. Check the display module: If the control board is fine, the issue may be with the display module itself. Remove the control panel cover and locate the display module. Check the connections and make sure they are secure. If the connections are fine, the display module may need to be replaced.
  4. Call a professional: If you are not comfortable troubleshooting or repairing the appliance yourself, it is best to call a professional technician. They will be able to diagnose the issue and recommend the best course of action.
Remember to always turn off the power to the appliance before attempting any repairs or troubleshooting. Safety should be your top priority.

Kenmore elite electric stove. model 79099013102. Intermittent starts beeping then flashing "F7".

The "F7" fault code could mean a stuck or shorted key pad/console or it could mean a failed oven control board. There is no way to reset the control.

A service technician would determine if the problem is with Key Panel/Console or the Oven Control by: See image below.

NOTE

: This is intended for the service technician. I do not recommend attempting to diagnose which one has failed. This test must be performed while connected to the power supply.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your range

What does F70 mean on a front load dryer?

Hello Carol;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

F70:

No communication between the electronic control board and the user interface control board assemblies.

Unplug the dryer. Check the wire harness connections between the main electronic control board and the user interface control board assemblies. If the connections are sound, have a technician diagnose the cause of the communication failure. The main electronic control board and/or the user interface control assemblies might need to be replaced.

How do I test the digital circuit board that controls the temperature in refrigerator and freezer

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you are trying to test the digital circuit board that controls the temperatures for your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FRS22ZRG. Typically, this is not a do it yourself test, as there are no step by step instruction manuals for this. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your refrigerator and determine what is going on with your appliance. Hope this is helpful.

F71 code

The F70 and F71 error codes indicates a communication problem between the user interface control board and the central control unit (main control board).

Sometimes be caused by a power surge or glitch through the electrical lines. Try unplugging the washer to completely disconnect electrical power. Wait one minute and then plug the washer back in to the see if the fault code clears. If it does, then the washer may work normally. If the code come on again, then you could have a wire harness connection problem, a failed user interface control board or a failed central control unit.

I recommend calling a service technician to properly diagnose and repair this type of problem so that the correct component can be replaced.

Hope helps (remember to rate this free answer)..

Kenmore elite has an f1 code...what do i do?

The F1 error code on this washer indicates a Primary Control Board failure.

It is likely that the machine control board will need to be replaced to correct this problem.

The part number for the machine control board is undetermineable because you have not provided me with the exact model # of your washer.

NOTE: Be sure to unplug the washer to disconnect electrical power before accessing internal components.

There is a slight possibility that a problem with the pressure switch hose could be causing this problem.
A pinched or twisted air hose can cause this fault code.
When you open the console, check the air hose connected to the pressure switch on the machine control board.
If it is pinched or crimped, I recommend rerouting the hose to resolve this problem.

This may fix your problem without replacing the control board.

NOTE: You may want to check for this condition before ordering the control board. Most electronic control boards cannot be returned for a refund or credit.

If you find no apparent problems with the air hose on the pressure switch, then replacing the machine control board on this washer should correct your problem. There is a risk involved in replacing this part yourself.

As noted above, you could have a problem with the air pressure hose that is not apparent upon your initial inspection. A service technician would normally need to properly and thoroughly diagnose this problem before replacing the control board.
