Starter or master relay

HYBRID?????????????
lights , how about headlights. are they full bright>
checked all fuses in cab and engine bay????????

NO CRANK , if it cant crank it sure cant start. (m/t pushed ,yes)
1: battery bad. or not charged. to 12.6v rested warm voltage.
at 8v the solenoid dies, (bad battery)
2: bad starter cables.
3: bad starter (hit it with a hammer, cranks now?) hit solenoid too

so keys in pockets.
hot wire the solenoid.
1: starter cranks but will not start, normal. bad key line.
2: starter dead, bad starter bad battery or cables.
use jumper cables now, to prove starter is in fact bad.
use jumper cables to a good known battery

the key line is that line that is the small wire in the starter
if hotwirng works this line is dead.
this path varies by M/T and A/T tranny , not stated by you, so.

many hondas have a starter relay
how that is wired varies by transmission type and engine size.
both unstated.
but if you login to alldata.com , you can look an pick that your self
and see that relay,
if present it has 4 pins.
lets explain the simple relay
it has 4 pins, 2 are coil and 2 are the contactor.
its a slave switch (or a current buffer to an engineer)
it allows a small current to control 10 amps to the solenoid.
i will now show the v6 A/T key line tests.
at the relay pins 2 and 4 are 12v (11v about ) cranking, if not fuses are bad.
next is pin3 , if the clutch (M/T) switch is bad, or the A/T park switch is bad this pin fails to go to 0v. and the relay will be dead forever.
of pin 3, Lt-grn wire is not 0v. in park or clutch depressed fix this switch. if its 0v keyon.
then check pin 3 of relay (output)
if 0v cranking the relay is toast.
if 12v cranking its ok and the line is cut to starter .
(can sag to 11v on a warm day , or 10v in fridged weather ,not stated by you......)
there is the whole set of tests on a v6, A/T car.

post what you drive,and current temperature for vastly better answers.

Is Pestell pine/cedar shavings good for bunnies and guinea pigs ?

Pine shavings can cause cancer and other problems in rabbits. Stay away! The best litter that is safe and odor absorbing is a pellet-type, such as yesterday's news (found in the cat department) or wood pellets (sold in hardware stores or Agway).

Gateway dx4822-01 power supply

Gateway DX4822 Desktop PC,

http://support.gateway.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=2291

Just a regular Ol' ATX power supply. Rated at a maximum wattage rating of 300 to 525 Watts. Two different power supply options offered.

Power Supply case size is;
6 Inches Wide, by 5-1/2 Inches Long, by 3-1/4 Inches Tall. (152.4mm Wide, by 139.7mm Long, by 82.55mm Tall )

Has the following power cables;

A) 1 -> 24-pin ATX main power cable,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#atxmain24

[ NOTE* Color of connector on power cable, OR motherboard, does NOT matter.

Proper connector, proper power cable, DOES matter; connector color does not matter ]

B) 1 -> 4-pin ATX +12 Volt power cable,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#atx12v4

{ Power to the motherboard, and all components connected to it }

C) 2 or more -> SATA power cables,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#sata

{ Power to a SATA harddrive, and/or power to SATA optical drive/s.
(CD/DVD drive) Or power for an upgrade in the future, for a SATA optical drive }

D) 3 or more -> Standard 4-pin Peripheral power cables,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#peripheral

{ Power for an IDE (PATA) harddrive, or drives. Also power for IDE (PATA) optical drive/s. Plus power in some instances, for computer case fans }

E) Two or more Small 4-pin Peripheral power cables,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#floppy

{ Listed as a Floppy Drive power cable. Back in the day when the article was written, such was true.
It can still be used for a Floppy Drive, but is more used now as a power cable for a;
1) Card Reader.
2) Computer case fans (IF needed }

It's name is Small 4-pin Peripheral power cable. It is smaller than it's larger cousin, the Standard 4-pin Peripheral power cable.

Also has smaller gauge of wiring. This means it cannot carry the same amperage, as the standard 4-pin Peripheral power cable.

I would recommend this,

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=899124&CatId=1483

A) 1 -> 20 + 4-pin ATX main power cable.
Can be used as a 20-pin ATX main power cable, or a 24-pin ATX main power cable, which is what you need.

B) 1 -> 4-pin ATX +12 Volt power cable.

C) 6 -> SATA power cables

D) 4 -> Standard 4-pin Peripheral power cables

E) 1 -> Small 4-pin Peripheral power cables

F) 1 -> 6-pin PCI Express power cable

G) 1 -> 6/8-pin PCI Express power cable.

In the future, (Or now if you have one), you can upgrade to a better graphics card, that needs an additional power cable, IF you wish.
The 6-pin PCI Express power cable.

You also have a 6-pin or 8-pin PCI Express power cable.
(6/8-pin PCI Express power cable)

All the pins can be used together, and make an 8-pin PCI Express power cable, for a very powerful graphics card that requires this cable.

Just added bonuses with today's modern power supply's.

For additional questions please post in a Comment.

Sony walkman NWZ-S754 Recharge is through computer - but can I recharge it via mains or in car.

Yes you can charge your player through main. All you need is a converter which connects to the usb cable to the plug. They are available in the market so you will need to look for it. Or you may find it at any electronic store.

Canon ZR800 - transfering video to DVD recorder

Just want to make sure you are talking about a four-pin firewire cable (small and flat) as opposed to a 4-pin s-video cable (round).

If you are talking about the latter, there is no control signal in an s-video cable so there is no "recognition" possible. Make sure that you have your DVD recorder set to S-video in and then hit play on the camcorder. You will need audio cables too if you want sound transferred. You should see video after you have manually pressed "play" on the camcorder.

Slight doubling of picture, horizontal color arc at bottom any ideas

Hi, your problem is convergence circuitry. I will get worse then stop. There is 4 things that may cause your problem.
Listed is the most likely to the leased likely.
1- bad convergence ic, I would need to know what colour is the most effected to tell you exsacly witch of the two is gone. Look at the back for ic location IK04/05 for stk392-110.
2- bad resistors, were the ic's or located look for bad resistors, mostly 1 to 3 ohms. I've seen some bads' one
3-power supply, these ic's have power going to them, pine 4/8/12/17 or -23 and pine 5/10 or+23 if they or low or have riple would be also your source, these source's or derived from the power supply look for bad cap's, burt fuse( pico style) or could bad regulator (ic's, transistor, diode).
4- alway's look for cold solder joints, it's a small posibility, but it may be your cause for bad regulation or changes in power goin in or out of the convergence ic's

I hope this help's
